Junior Explorers Kids Subscription Review – Mission Arctic + 50% Off Code

Junior Explorers is a mission-based learning subscription for kids ages 5 to 12. Kids will travel around the world virtually, learning about the environment, habitats, and animals of each location.  A new mission to a new ecosystem with new animals is delivered every month. Junior Explorers is designed for kids that have an interest in animals, nature, and are curious to explore the planet.  Every month you’ll get a code to go online and complete the Mission. Your subscription will start with an introductory kit and mission.

The second mission is Mission Arctic!

The kids received a button, mini figures, a bracelet, stickers, temporary tattoos, an activity booklet, and information sheets.

Postcards to share your mission!

Key information with everything you need to know about your mission to the Arctic. Besides the items that arrive in the monthly subscription, your child will have access to the online component.

When you log in you will be able to select your avatar (boy or girl). After you select your mission you’ll enter the code on the envelope.

Before you embark on your journey you’ll learn a little more about the Arctic.

And then you will be on your way!

My daughter got out her trunk from the first mission (and her water bottle), fired up a snack, and went on her Arctic Mission!  She really enjoys this subscription and she successfully completed the online mission.  She told me she is excited for Serengeti (the next mission) and she does spend a good amount of time looking back at all the materials and absorbing all the facts and information! I like how she gets a variety of new ideas and vocabulary to practice with – the only thing I’d say about this subscription that it’s best if your child is a reader already. My daughter is 6 and is a fluent reader but younger kids may stumble a bit. If your kid needs more help, that’s fine too – just be available to help with trickier words. This is a fun, educational, and inexpensive subscription and perfect for kids who love animals and learning about the environment!

Update: I snapped this after posting the review, but I couldn’t help sharing – She said the polar bear was chasing the beluga whale (it’s a little hard to see but she’s playing with the minis). Don’t forget to save them all in your trunk!
