Julep Cupid's Mystery Clutch

Julep’s Cupid’s Mystery Clutch is easily my favorite mystery box ever, and very likely one of my favorite boxes of the entire year – it’s amazing and what each and every Julep Mystery Box should be. Hopefully they’ll all be like this year. Every Cupid’s Mystery Clutch will include 2 special top coats and a black sequined wristlet – and the rest will be a surprise, all for $24.99.

Use coupon code GETCOLOR to get a free full-priced Julep polish with any order of $15 or more, including this one! Or use CONGRATS after adding the Congrats Wedding Duo – you’ll get it free!  If you aren’t already a subscriber, Join Maven and get the Birthstone Welcome Box FREE ($58 value) – just pay $2.99 shipping with code ONYX or get your Welcome Box FREE when you pre-pay for your first three months.

Julep Lip Gloss in Posh ($16) I have this and I love it and I’m thrilled to get another one. This is Julep’s black honey dupe.

Julep Gel Eye Glider in Navy Smoke ($12.80)  I really like Julep’s eye gliders and I think this is a great addition to this box.

These are so gorgeous we have to look at them again. I painted my nails with Ada last night (from the February subscription box) so I haven’t tried these yet but how perfect are they to all go together? Julep blew this one out of the park.julep everly

I heard it was the neutral shadow palette and brush.

I loved the last mystery box, this one was great too surprisingly! I’m on nail polish overload but they sent ones I’ve been wanting and I actually really liked Margit. I LOVE this lipgloss, it’s gorgeous and the clutch.

I’ve been working with their Maven’s customer service and I’m disappointed in their response. I ordered the clutch and was not able to add any code (not CONGRATS or COLORFUN or the one in my last box, TAKE10), even though I saw that other people were successful. I didn’t want the clutch to sell out, so I ordered it and than emailed Maven CS. They replied with “sorry, promo codes aren’t valid with the mystery boxes.” I replied and pointed out that bloggers (MSA and MommySplurge) were able to use codes, and several of your commenters were as well. When she responded again, she didn’t comment about MSA or MommySplurge being able to use a code, only “again, sorry promo codes don’t work, it even says so in the fine print.”
I’ve been a Maven for almost a year, and this is my first mystery purchase based on the reviews. I would think they would treat all of their Customer’s the same, so it’s irritating to say the least.

I’m sorry 🙁 they may have turned it off in the middle. Happens a lot with julep. Perhaps they didn’t code the product properly when they posted it. I haven’t been thrilled with most of their mystery boxes either but this was a more curated experience. It may have had to do with the mid month switchover. I think some of those codes expired in Jan. Not sure. 🙁
