There are two books that will come in your Koala Crate. The first is the instructions & inspiration book.

This gives an overview of all the items in the crate (on the right), the 3 primary activity, and the messiness level and required grownup assistance needed.

Every activity tells you the required materials, engagement questions to ask your child, step by step instructions, and play ideas.

Imagine! magazine is made for you and your preschooler to explore together.

There’s a fun story to help introduce your child to the theme of the box.

A movement activity and poem/story.

My baby turned 4 in December – this was especially timely!

He loved matching the oval texture pieces to the animals and the mittens! My husband said that they played the safari search game for hours. And then he got my daughter involved after school!

I have noticed that every Koala Crate has a “keep” item that you’ll want to save for really extended use. This month’s was an animals mix and match game. The cards were super sturdy and thick, and he loved playing them. I love that this is a low-key box – it’s easy to complete the activities, they provide tons of play time, but they are open-ended enough that you can sort of make them your own, or do whatever the box says, or whatever you’d enjoy!
