January 2015 Birchbox Man Review

January’s Birchbox Man theme is Let’s Do This Thing! This box is designed to help kick off 2015 with some concrete goals.

The shirt doesn’t say Sweat in this – it’s the plastic (which is why I kept it on, because it was cute!).

• Nourish Snacks Mr. Popular ($2) My husband luuuuurves these things!
• suki exfoliate foaming cleanser (mini teensy sample $1.65) I’ll probably steal this. I like it but it tends to get hard/unusable if it sits. As usual, smells soooo good.

The Men’s Soap Shop Body Soap ($3.67) Uses deep rich oils plus some sort of exfoliant (doesn’t say). I thought the container was super unique.

Gendarme – Eau de Cologne ($10.63) A very healthy size on this sprayer! This is a “hypoallergenic fragrance,” which I’ve never heard of before.  I would imagine someone somewhere would be allergic to its ingredients but i don’t know! Gendarme says:

We can’t claim that the product is hypoallergenic, but Topper created the fragrance as to not to irritate him – and his allergies are legendary. In 20 years we can only think of only one person who said he had an allergic issue with Gendarme – but even he is still a loyal customer.

 Cory Vines The Path Long Sleeve Tee (Onyx) ($35) This is a GREAT tee and my husband absolutely adores it.  They have more in stock at Birchbox or you can get 10% off an order at Cory Vines (including womens – use the popup to get the coupon!). Cory Vines is about affordable high-end sports apparel, perfect for January!

This December Birchbox Man had a total of $52.95 in value plus of course we get points for reviewing the items in the box on the Birchbox website. This was an extra box because I forgot to cancel the second account – but I’m sure glad we got it! I didn’t select the item or anything – I was busy and just totally completely forgot. Sometimes forgetting to cancel can be great! My husband will have his review of our other box up on our site for men’s subscription box reviews in the next week, but of course, I’ll post a photo below!
