Cuisine Cube is a gluten-free subscription box delivering artisanal and gluten-free groceries every month! It comes in a nice cube shaped box and… I have no idea where my photo is of that! Cuisine Cube was created by a team of enthusiastic eaters, food professionals, and allergy sufferers from New York City who came together to create a new kind of gluten-free delivery service and to share our experience in the hunt for great gluten-free food.
This was the holiday box – the brownies were replaced by another dessert (they sold out, sometimes products are substituted in other subscriptions too. We got a very good replacement!).
The information card has photos of all the items.
This recipe came with the gluten-free flour in the box. Super helpful!
Whitney’s Castleton Gluten-Free Cheddar Crisps ($7) Made with Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company’s award-winning Governor’s Cheddar! This struck me right off the bat as super high end, and so good!
The YES Bar – Macadamia Chocolate Chip Snack Bar ($3) I loved the ingredients list for this bar! It started with macadamias 🙂 It was pretty sweet but good. A great gluten-free discovery.
GF Jules Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour ($8.46 + $10 Shipping) So apparently there are two gluten free companies named Jules. Super confusing (I’ve linked to the proper one). As usual, shipping is killer on specialty items. This flour is Gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and soy-free non-GMO and made in a facility free from the Top 8 Allergens. Supposed to work with any recipe. What a great item to include and the family down the street will be psyched to have this one – one of the kids’ is celiac. Note – Buy this in the Cuisine Club Store to save on shipping!
Aleia’s Sweeter than Sweet Vanilla Bean Sugar Cookies ($8) Aren’t these darling?! You can see the vanilla bean flecks and I love the ingredients list:
Pure Cane Sugar, Tapioca Flour, Whole Grain Sorghum Flour, Butter, Eggs, Pure Vanilla Extract, Vanilla Beans, Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, Salt.
I truly noticed how everything in this box was real food.
KrumVille Bake Shop Chocolate Almond Amaretti ($5) THESE WERE FREAKING AWESOME! The first ingredient is Guittard chocolate and they’re made with almond flour. Crazy good – they had like a sugar shell almost and were moist and brownie-y in the middle.
Cora Bella Gluten Free Gnocchi ($3.79) This one uses rice flour and potato starch and has excellent reviews on Amazon.
This box had about $34.79 in value, right at the cost of the box (this is a good value for a specialty food box) plus there’s free shipping and if you go for a longer subscription, I think you’re really going to come out ahead on this one. Based on the contents of this box and the quality of the items, I really recommend. I was impressed.
