Frozen Birthday Party!

This was our first “friends” birthday party and was so great! I wanted to share some photos with you. My husband drew Olaf!IMG_7142

For the main party activity we decorated gingerbread houses to look like FROZEN ice palaces. We made sure the birthday girl had a new Anna & Elsa sweatshirt to wear beforehand!IMG_7198

This was from a Whimseybox (defunct craft subscription). It took 3 hours to make. THREE HOURS. But it was a great touch for the party!IMG_7197

We kept the decorations pretty simple. I picked up 2 tinsel garlands from Walmart.IMG_7196

Even the wood art got the snowflake treatment!IMG_7132

We turned on the movie as the kids were coming in and let it play through the “Do you want to build a snowman?” song. Then we made Olafs as a mini-craft.IMG_7147

A VERY happy birthday girl!IMG_7159

You can buy spray coloring for icing and the silver was a huge hit. I recommend it!IMG_7178

Pin the Nose on the Olaf was massively laugh-inducing. It’s a Must Do!

Frozen was a great theme for a little girl’s birthday party. We passed out some barrettes and stickers at the end, and of course, each girl took home her own Frozen gingerbread ice palace!

How awesome that looks! I love house birthday parties for kids. No one does them where we live. Everything is out and costs > $500.00 (crazy, wasteful). Happy Birthday to your little princess.

Yeah, I looked at outside parties and said no way! Plus we reused everything for E’s party. I will post the photos for that soon! I made the mistake of buying frozen & jake & the neverland pirates wrapping paper and then the kids wanted character birthdays so I did it this year. Next year may be more generic (cookie decorating parties). E’s was last night & we had the neighbors over. He had a blast.
