I’m not a card person at all. But my kids are getting older and I wanted to start making some family holiday traditions, so I thought I’d check out some holiday greeting cards this year. Oubly is a family owned stationery company based in Los Angeles. They have cute & stylish designs for their holiday greeting cards! Oubly sent me a voucher in order to review their cards and I picked out a super cute Gingerbread design.
They wanted me to take photos of my unboxing, but they just showed up in a priority mailer sealed in plastic. I didn’t think it was anything all that special. If you order over 40 cards they do arrive in a pretty gift box, but they sent me 35 cards. If you’re sending the greeting cards as a gift definitely order at least 40 to get the pretty box. I do absolutely love these fun, modern, and stylish designs.
The personalization process was really easy. I just added “The O’Grady’s” and dropped in a photo of the kids I took the other week. I made it black and white because they were all wearing different color stripes. When you can get a photo of all three kids together, you go with it.
Oubly is offering free edge-painting during the holidays, which is really awesome and gorgeous. However, I wouldn’t recommend selecting silver – you can barely see it when the cards are stacked and it’s unnoticeable on the cards separately. I think a different color would have worked better. I really liked the rounded edge on these cards.
I’m not sure how I’m going to mail these (and I was pretty stupid to select square cards to begin with – they require extra postage). But the addressing sure is adorable! She is definitely spreading some happiness to our family. I had my son write an E under his picture – great practice!
