I was so excited to see this fantastic CANVAS Ipsy bag this month. Seriously! I love the bags, and if I don’t use it, I pass it on! (This one is staying with me, thank you!). Anyhoo, the theme this month was fresh picks! I didn’t have any bag envy this month – I would have preferred one product over another, but I was happy with my bag! It didn’t hurt that I redeemed some points I’d saved for two bonuses!

May 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag
Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF50 ($2.20) Look, I’m never going to complain about sunscreen. And this is an adorable bottle!
Balanced Guru No Frizz Organic Sesame and Lemongrass Balancing Oil ($12.50) This is the one product that I really just don’t need at all, but I love that it’s organic, and I will be using it on my son’s straw-like hair!
Avène Thermal Spring Water ($9) I am addicted to spray water. That is all. You can save 15% on Avene right on Drugstore.com, because of Ipsy. That was cool! But seriously I use all these sprays. They feel great!
Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo ($3.50) This is Duo #2. I love Pacifica products but I didn’t think this one was very high performance. It got better with the use of a primer (swatches on top).
The purple on the bottom (no primer) looks very dark in the photo but it wasn’t really at all on my hand.
Boo-Boo Cover-Up Boo-Boo Cover-up: Medium Shade ($19.99) My only thing is that I think undereye concealer (what I use concealer for) should be maybe a touch lighter than the rest of your face. But I’ve been looking for a concealer and I’m going to try this one! – After actually looking this up it’s for boo-boos/acne. So I guess I’ll use a teensy bit when I need that, which is pretty rare. Their tag line is heal while you conceal.
My May Ipsy bag had five items and $47.19 in value! I would have loved to try the Too Faced but it’s in the Sephora Sun Safety kit for 2014 I just bought yesterday I think, so I’m not super broken up about it. One of my favorite subscriptions this month!
Also, FYI, if you have Ipsy Points Jouer glosses are up now, I’m sure they’re going fast. I rarely get a bonus item but I got two this month!
I got this BareMinerals Lipstick, and I love love looove Bare Minerals!
And TokyoMilk Dark Lip Elixir in Salted Caramel. Hilariously, I purchased this yesterday morning at Sephora. It’s amazing but I don’t need two, so that will find its way into a giveaway soon! I got the same sunscreen (goes to my daughter, since I avoid the sun) and spray spring water (very interesting!), duo #1 of the eye shadow, Pur-lisse moisturizer (seems kind of redundant with the water), and Bloody Mary Nailtini polish.
Oh no the spray water is so refreshing and not redundant with the Pur-lisse! Try it after a few hours at your computer!

I have 2 more lip elixirs in my sephora cart. I cannot help it. I did look at my Glam Room this month and it was the first month where I wasn’t really upset that I didn’t get x or y or z! This reminds me, I have the yearly day before Thanksgiving bare minerals thing on auto-delivery and I should be getting it this week!
