Bulu Box was one of my very first subscription boxes so I’m pretty darned psyched to be a Bulu Box ambassador and review this health and fitness subscription box  more frequently! I have heard a lot of great things about the improvement in boxes. Bulu Box is sort of like Birchbox, in that you get to review your items for points, so much of the value in the box is in your points! So subscribe, review, and use your points up.

The Subscription: Bulu Box
The Description: Choose the health, nutrition, and supplement discovery box or the weight-loss focused subscription box and get 4-6 samples of interesting and unique health-oriented product
The Price: $10/month

April Bulu Box Review

This looked like a great box – and way more stuff than Bulu Box had in the past!

IMG_3944

WhiteShield ($1.30) This is for coffee stain prevention – pour it into your coffee. Obviously not trying this one (I don’t drink coffee) but what an interesting idea! This is a bonus item in the box.IMG_3947

Smarty Pants Adult Gummy Vitamins ($1) I may have totally eaten these as soon as I opened the box in lieu of my daily prenatal. They were delicious! IMG_3945

Beauty Bursts Gourmet Collagen Soft Chews ($0.40) Pretty good, but I actually think I prefer the fruit punch flavor. Has collagen type 1 & 3 to firm and smooth the skin – from the inside.IMG_3948

Kind Dark Chocolate Chili Almond ($1.31) I eat either this or the peanut butter chocolate kind bar every morning. At this point in my pregnancy I’m starting to really watch my carbs and my doctors at AMAZED at my blood sugar numbers after eating one of these. It’s what I eat if I’m hungry but my numbers are bad and they really are great for keeping your blood sugar numbers level and keeping you satiated!  Super Choice!IMG_3949

Mediterranean Snacks Tapaz 2 Go ($2.99) This is a great shelf stable healthy snack or lunch on the go.  And non-GMO!IMG_3946

Mestrength ($1) I love how this has no carbs, sugars, or preservatives! I have no idea whether creatine is pregnancy OK (a few studies say it’s fine, but there’s nothing definitive) so I think I’ll save this one for later!

The value of my April Bulu Box was $8 right on the nose (howwwww?) I thought that was pretty good after the points. Though I always like the value to equal the purchase price, shipping is a reality. A great variety to this box and a lot more I’d use than the last box I got!
