March Tea Sparrow Review

Packaging
Packaging

I liked the packaging! The Tea Sparrow teas were inserted in between tissue paper, it just looked elegant and calm.

Info Card
Info Card

I found this information card useful, because I don’t know much about making tea!

Bags of Loose-Leaf Tea
Bags of Loose-Leaf Tea

I was excited to open everything. Even though I don’t really drink tea, it’s just so beautiful. The packages had information like the kind of tea, whether it has caffeine, the ingredients, and specific steeping instructions. I probably should mention that you need a special tea device to make this – some sort of steeper/infuser. I got one for my daughter from the Easter Bunny, and I used it to make her tea!

Organic Masala Chai
Organic Masala Chai

Organic Masala Chai – Caffeinated Black Tea. This smelled like chai to me – so delicious and spicy with the cinnamon and clove.  (Note that I’m saving the caffeinated teas for my husband, don’t go all crazy on me for feeding caffeine to my 5 year old!)

White Tea Champagne
White Tea Champagne

White Tea Champagne – Caffeinated Green Tea. This smelled so delicious , I could absolutely smell the cassis in it. I may give this one a whirl for myself! Look how pretty it is. It’s artwork all by itself.

Rooibos du Hamman
Rooibos du Hamman

Rooibos du Hamman – Herbal tea. This had strong notes of rose and orange and was the tea that I made for my kid. She loved it. Where did I get her? I tasted it and it tasted like it smelled. I think most teas do!

Cacao Tea
Cacao Tea

Cacao Tea – herbal tea. Ok, I’m going to have to try this with milk. These are organic cacao bean shell and I’ve never seen this before! How unusual!

Brewing
Brewing

This contraption is a Brewt and it’s very similar to other tea infusers. I wanted something easy to make tea for my kid, because tea isn’t my thing!

Yum!
Yum!

She drank all the tea from both brewings. What a cute little fan!

I thought Tea Sparrow had an excellent variety of types of tea and different flavor profiles. One of the things I want to note is that they don’t try to sell you the tea afterwards. They are a tea discovery subscription and print where to buy the tea right on the bags. It made me feel that this subscription was very editorial in nature! You can subscribe to Tea Sparrow and get 60% off your first box! Just use this link and the promo code teas! I totally recommend it!

You can also see all the beverage subscription boxes in my directory!

I love that she loves tea! I wonder how these would taste iced (I do not like anything hot!) 🙂

I make them iced for her! I tasted it before and after ice and it tasted the same to me. She asked for more yesterday. Twice!
