Bugsy’s Box February 2014 Review
Bugsy’s Box comes with an information card explaining the benefits and uses of all the items in the box!
February’s Bugsy’s Box looked like it had a nice assortment. It was a little odd to have two treats from the same company, but they were two entirely different flavors and after I looked them up I understood why there were two! I was sent a small box for Lindy, as she is a miniature schnauzer and weighs about 15 pounds.
Bow Wow Pet Spiked Ball ($4.50) This is a pretty big ball but Lindy will enjoy it. She loves going after balls and I just like any ball that doesn’t pop. That scares everyone! This one is also nice & bouncy!
Smart N’ Tasty Dog Treats ($18) Sold at pet specialty retailers only! That’s why there are two! Lindy loves both these flavors – duck & sweet potato and tuna – and they are all natural and made in the US. These are great for dogs with protein sensitivities and they are also hard biscuits for teeth cleaning. [Note that this price has been corrected from a previous price error!]
Superior Farms Venison Jerky ($4) These are 100% natural, which I love. The stuff you buy in the box at the store always stains the carpet. Lindy will slurp these up as soon as she gets her paws on them!
Canine Calm ($13) This worked well on Lindy during our crazy Christmas visit. Unfortunately as she is not coming back next month (my husband’s stay in Vermont got extended), I may spray this in the kids’ room. I’m not kidding. Those two can be totally nuts. Canine Calm uses pure essential oils of bergamot, tangerine, lavender, geranium, marjoram, and ylang ylang to create a calming environment and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work in the air for humans. It smells pretty nice 🙂
My box had a value of $39.50 (updated price due to pricing error), which is a phenomenal deal on a longer plan (seriously, subscribe to long plans on dog boxes, it is always worth it!). I am sending Lindy her treats and new toy, which I know will be loved! I love getting my dog a care package, this is a great way to do it!
