Beauty Bar’s Sample Society is a monthly subscription box with 5 beauty items (usually found on Beauty Bar!). Every month you get a mini mag plus a $15 coupon to use on a $50 purchase that includes one of the brands found in your box. It’s a fun subscription. I don’t think February was my very favorite, though it’s a really nice high value box!
The Description: Get five deluxe-sized luxury brand samples and $15 monthly gift code to redeem on a $50 purchase at BeautyBar — when any product from the brands you sampled is included in your order. Plus an Allure mini-mag.
The Price: $15/month
February 2014 Sample Society Review

So, I’m pretty bummed about this! They’re removing the information card! It says that I’ll receive the information about my monthly samples via email – but I didn’t get an email! So I don’t know if there is a theme or anything. This is weird/lame/disappointing.

I was happy to see a full box from great brands!

This is February 2014 Sample Society Box “C”! Although product wise it was hard to really get into this box at the first look, after looking everything up and toting up the value – almost $44 – I’m pretty darned impressed with this box! I do wish it had a makeup item, though!
Alterna Bamboo Volume 48 Hour Sustainable Volume Spray ($5.06) A volumizing spray is always a win for me!
Ahava Deadsea Water Mineral Body Lotion ($3.92) This is pretty smelly because of the Dead Sea minerals but I’m excited to give it a shot. I don’t think I’ve tried anything like it!
Ahava Osmoter Concentrate ($10) This is a moisture and radiance boosting serum that will “recharge, rehydrate and illuminate facial skin.” I’m going to have to give it a shot because I could use it after this winter!
Murad Environmental Shield Active Radiance Serum ($15.13) Clinically proven to improve skin firmness by up to 63% in just 15 minutes.
Phyto Phytokeratine Mask ($9.75) Restores body, elasticity, and luster to the most weakened, damaged hair with keratin and hyaluronic acid.
All of the products I got in my box are items that I will give a serious try! This is the perfect way to test out these pricier items and if they work for you, you can use the included coupon to save on the full-size. The more I think about my February box the more I like it. Nothing really flashy but all stuff that is intended to really work.
