February is the first month in a while where I’ve only picked up one Bluum box – just for my 3 year old son. I decided as the boxes had become exactly the same it was time to cut one out! This one took a while to get to us because of weather delays (seriously, can you remember any other year where shipping was like this? crazy!) but it arrived at just the right time so we could open it while sick! Gave us something to do. Bluum’s information cards no longer have any information whatsoever about the contents, so I skipped that photo.
The Description: Age-specific subscription boxes for babies and toddlers starting at $14.90. Each box contains 5-6 full-size products. Earn rewards points for reviewing products or opting in to that month’s Bluum box to redeem for a free box.

February 2014 Bluum Box Review: Pre-K Boy
Bluum doesn’t send a themed box (they used to pretend to but there was never actually a theme) and now there is just a mix of products for your baby’s age and developmental stage. I thought this looked like a great mix of products!
Manhattan Toy Cozies Plush Green Frog ($12.99) This was super cute with a beanbag butt. I stole this one for a St. Patrick’s Day gift. Anything green that comes in the mail is MINE for now!
Weleda Calendula Weather Protection Cream ($13) I wish I had this a month ago – it uses lanolin and calendula to heal super irritated skin, but now I know just what I need for that red face that comes with the self-wiping of the winter runny nose. This is perfect for us.
Child’s Play – Giant Bats ($11.34) This is an awesome different kind of popup book. I love that there are no flaps to tear off. The kids were super excited about this and learned a ton. Definitely a keeper.
Priddy Books – My Giant Sticker Work Book ($5) Bluum values this at $13, but you can snag it super cheap, so I’m just saying $5. We love stickers. Maybe if I get around to using the xyron we can actually use the clip art to make stickers. But for now, we’ll just “stick” to these!
Green Sprouts – Organic Terry Bath Puppet – Cornflower Hippo ($7.99) We haven’t received any bath items recently and my kids are still little enough that they want to PLAY in the tub. This will be a hit!
Overall I was impressed with the February Bluum box! I thought the quality of the items (especially the fabric ones) far outweighed last month’s Bluum! My box’s value was over $50 using my numbers, so this is one of the higher value Bluum boxes that we’ve received.
