I have been working on my New Year’s Bucket List! Yesterday I spent a lot of time cleaning up my place and reorganizing. Everyone loves a little organizing eye candy, here are our craft supplies, all reorganized!

This is actually the intermediate. It was a wreck. We take out supplies and don’t return them to their homes. I had already spent an hour on this before I thought to take a photo.

Fruit Basket

I repurposed a 2-tier fruit basket (that had never found a good use). It has huge holes in the bottom so I stored “packs” of things like markers & crayons in it. The top has glue and tape and a small mason jar of writing tools.

Crayon Storage

I have these plastic containers all over my house. I originally bought them for toy storage, and I don’t love them for that. I thought putting the crayons all in one box was a good idea. Separating the colors is pretty but time consuming and ultimately they won’t stay organized that way.

Marker Storage

This is a cheap Ikea divider tray. We have a bunch of them because I have multiple wire basket racks from Ikea. I have skinny Mr. Sketch, Flair Pens, and highlighters, plus whiteboard crayons. I ended up putting random markers in the empty hole. I will have to find the strength to pitch them.

Well the washi came pre-organized. My daughter is capital O obsessed with it. Our ginormous Mr. Sketch collection came in handy, because there were enough of them to create a beautiful arrangement in this tote! I stored mini Crayola Pipsqueaks in the front pocket. The other tote has glue sticks and scissors.

Craft Supplies: Organized!

I took the time to reorganize the activity books into two cheap Ikea magazine files in the back. I do have 3 storage carts underneath the table and I cleaned those all out.  In the utensil organizer (also repurposed, also never used for anything) I have a mason jar of markers, 2 Band-aid containers (one contains Expo markers, the other contains Crayola twistables), some fat pencils, and I have room to store more. That container is so ill-designed I’m not sure what I can actually store in there (long thin dividers) but I’m sure more things will pop up!

I should have written that I could not have done it (the organizing or the post) without consulting you by photo all day long!
