One of my best friends from high school is Korean and she was always showing me new & exciting products. Today I want to introduce you to Rakuten Global Market, Japan’s number one shopping site… and it has free shipping on most products! You will need to pay an international shipping fee but until November 21, participating stores are offering free shipping plus waiving the shipping fee! You can shop with your credit card or with PayPal. FYI everything is charged in local currency (usually Yen), so use a card without exchange fees. I have a few of these for international shopping and travel! It’s somewhat like our big American e-commerce sites that allow smaller stores to fulfill purchases straight through them, but with awesome and amazing products! If you are addicted (or want to be) to the latest products from Japan, this is your site – it’s like having your own huge market! It’s so cool to find some old favorites as well as some new ones online! Beyond the beauty products (yes you can buy Dr. Jart on Rakuten!) my first thought when I saw this site was Japanese fashion! Totally hard to find here in the US! You can shop by style, and check out how it’s organized!

I also liked checking out best Japanese baby & kid brands and the “Much-valued Japanese Products” in the Finding Japan Store (many of the pages are automatically translated, so as usual, you’ll find silly translations)! I personally think Japanese style can be really mod and elegant, and I loved this “Fluffy Pocket Dress” – it’s about $20! Helpfully described as “In exquisite balance 3 tucks on the chest and pockets of fat, not visible!”

Isn’t it cute? I think it’s adorable!

I also found this great Hermès handbag! Would you consider shopping directly from Japan? I certainly would! I am always looking for something new and I loved the variety at Rakuten Global Marketplace! If you’d like to get some early holiday shopping in, do it now while the free shipping/fee offer is in effect (and so your purchases will have time to arrive from Japan!).

Another favorite of mine is this Dolman top, apparently in a fabric that’s designed to provide extra warmth without bulk! Let me know what fun things you find when you Explore Rakuten Global Market! Soooo much stuff to sort through! Get Global Free Shipping Now!
