I was excited to see the November Taste Trunk when I got home tonight! The contents are always a surprise and I’ve enjoyed all the boxes I’ve received and totally use everything! I know there’s a Plum District deal, I don’t know if it’s a special box, but I believe ordering your first box through an Ambassador (like moi) is a better deal. The box is $29 and there’s a $5.99 shipping fee. Put my name in the “special instructions” box at checkout (Brandy O’Grady) and use coupon code Splurge25 for 25% off! So using that deal it’s $27.74 total (plus tax if applicable) instead of $39.99. Am I missing something on that one? I don’t think so!Taste Trunk is also debuting new mini trunks! There’s a sweet mini-trunk and a healthy-sweet mini trunk. What a great idea! $13.99 plus $5.99 shipping. Shipping on two trunks (including a mini) cannot be combined, and discounts don’t apply to the mini trunks.

I think the packaging of this box is so cute! The inner box comes in a flat rate priority mail box. The outside of this box has a matching seal to the inside. I think it’s so cute. It makes me happy.

I’m so intrigued by the one-time Christmas trunk! Love the separate information cards – you can break up Taste Trunk and use them for hostess gifts if you’d like and include the card!

JB’s Best Black Bean, Corn & Cilantro Salsa with Tequila (mild) ($6) This was yummy! It’s quite mild and I ate a third of it right out of the jar. Yeah, I’m a weirdo, I like to eat salsa with a spoon. That it contains a nice dose of tequila did not hurt in the least.

Rabbit Creek Pumpkin & Cream Cheese Quick Bread Mix ($8.15) I am so excited to make this next week for Thanksgiving! My son is crazy into quick breads (I call them “snack cakes”) and I have some pumpkin to use up!

Dulcet Mild Indian Curry Ketchup ($5) I was so excited by this, it will be great on white or sweet potato fries! It’s sweet and tangy with a strong turmeric & cinnamon base!

Vino de Milo Gorgonzola Pear with Dressing ($6) This all-natural, no sugar, low-carb, low-fat dressing has great reviews! I’m not a big stinky cheese fan, so this one’s in the husband pile, he’ll be so excited. I think it would make quite an elegant salad for the holiday!

Chocolate Dipped Madeleines from Donsuemor ($3) TOO GOOD. Thankfully there were only 3 and I have 2 kids 🙂 The madeleines have just enough sugar to not be crispy and the chocolate coating was quite thick and dark. I would buy these for a holiday party. Yes someone buy me more!

My grand total is $28.15, which is a tad shy of the cost of the box. In my experience Taste Trunk value runs right with the cost, but you get a nice tasting experience and get to try fun products that you don’t see in a typical grocery store!
