Shiro Cosmetics Review: Nic Cage Raking Leaves on a Brisk October Afternoon

Soooo, basically I couldn’t help myself. I saw this Shiro Cosmetics color of the month on another blog. I bought two immediately – one for me & one for a friend (I posted it on my Facebook and she was all like squeeeee and so was I, because I have this now not so secret addiction to Nicolas Cage). On the Shiro page, after introducing the color – October’s Color of the Month is Nic Cage Raking Leaves on a Brisk October Afternoon – she writes “I am so sorry.”  That just made me cackle! And put a huge smile on my face! I totally recommend checking out this indie shadow & gloss brand with a fantastic and geeky sense of humor!

In addition to this gorgeous color – Deep, rich coffee brown-black loaded with gold and red sparkles – with Nic beaming from a pile of leaves, I also got two samples! I used a teensy bit on my hand and it’s super pigmented and smoky. I love a sense of humor along with great eyeshadow. I also got free candy corn along with my vegan & cruelty-free makeup! I don’t think this one can ever be topped!I will be guarding my Nic Cage Raking Leaves on a Brisk October Afternoon like the precious that it is. I should’ve bought three so I’d have one to use and one as a collector’s item.
