Tuesday is a totally lame mail day! Last week I got nothing, and yesterday, just one box. THANK GOODNESS! It gives me a little bit of time to catch up after the Monday avalanche! Monday mail is totally extreme!

I’m SO READY for this experiment to be over with. I’m still not allowed to throw it away. Fortunately some ACV in a jar is keeping the flies at bay. It’s gross. Fortunately I was finally allowed to toss the dead bug in a jar (we’re very into scientific observation lately). I decline to post pictures of the awesomely large & disgusting bug. ANYTHING FOR SCIENCE PEOPLE! We’re studying “decay.” She’s obsessed.

I pitched the kids in the tub last night with From The Lab hair mask in. Their hair turned out great. Why is mine so bad? My daughter’s is almost as fine but not quite as because hers turned out pretty good. I have the thinnest & finest hair. My son’s hair really looks great with the mask and it eliminates one rinsing. He has an issue with rinsing.

Post Kiwi Crate I made the kids a cheese omelette. My daughter asked me for one the other day, I don’t know where from, but it was a hit. I’ll do it again soon! The himalayan sea salt (thanks Costco!) really made it perfect. Oh and the land o’ lakes olive oil & sea salt butter. That really set it off. This has nothing to do with subscription boxes except I made it after we did one.

The Kajal Eye Glider & Sharpener will be in Julep Maven October boxes. It features one end of the pencil in “carbon black” and the other end in brown shimmer and comes with a sharpener!
