Try The World sent me this subscription box for my review.
Try The World’s brand new subscription box is now available! With Try The World you’ll get a new curated box of gourmet delights from a new destination each month! I love this idea! Instead of getting overloaded with treats from just one part of the world, you’ll get to travel around without doing any work. Try The World sent me a mini box – a sampling of items that are in the full Paris Box, the first Try The World destination – to check out! After Paris you’ll travel to Tokyo, Rio, and other spots!
I thought the packaging for this mini box was just lovely and I was excited to open it. I am pretty sure I made actual cooing sounds when I pulled it out of the cardboard box. I was really impressed by the custom ribbon. This box would make a great gift, either for yourself, or someone else!
The Description: Try The World delivers the best products coming from the greatest cities in the world, to your door! Go on an incredible journey across continents delivering some of the best products from the most exciting places on the planet. This box is delivered every 60 days!

Try The World Mini Paris Box
Information Cards The envelope wrapped on top of the box held these absolutely gorgeous information cards! Each product information card had complete details on the gourmet items. Plus, there was a (stamped!) Paris postcard, a welcome card, a suggested playlist, and a poem.
This is the reverse of the welcome card & the reverse of the poem, if you read French. I can’t speak a lick of French but I can read it. (yes, 17 years after taking 4 years of high school French, I can still read it!) I was really excited by all of the extra information cards because it gave the gourmet items more flavor. I could totally see having some special themed parties or meals with my kids with the items in the box, as we can’t quite afford to take the whole family gallivanting off to international destinations.
Mini Paris Box Items
Les Confitures a l’Ancienne This hot chocolate with raw cane sugar won the NASFT Outstanding Beverage Award in 2002! I was impressed with the ingredients and then remembered – all French food is like this.
Le Palais des Thés I received three specialty blends to try, and my MIL proclaimed them really fantastic teas! Thé du Hammam (a Turkish inspired blend) was sprinkled with flower petals. So pretty!
Alain Milliat Preserves These jams really took it to the next level. I love the French food sensibility. It makes it much easier for me to stuff my face with the attention to detail and flavor. We ate these with fresh hot donuts from my husband’s French-Canadian mémé’s recipe! And no, I am so not on a diet this weekend!
I thought this was a darling box and I would die to have the entire thing! My husband was aching for the Crème de Marrons, and of course Try The World includes a whole tube of it from Ardèche (where the best is made). This is a shot of the entire Paris Box. I think I spy a custom box (so cute!) along with extras of everything I received, the Chestnut paste, Fleur de Sel, butter caramels, and more! Yum.

Oh, so hard to choose. I love anything almond and the little chocolate tarts – although I don’t recall what they were called.
We also have a vendor at the Farmer’s Market in Clinton, NY that sells french Patisserie. My favorite is raspberry brioche. This looks like a great box, and I have been wanting to try it for a long time! I am trying to hold out for a coupon code though-maybe for the holidays?
Je ne sais pas! They are a new box so there’s no way to know. Check the new coupons page obsessively 😉 bisous (xoxox)!
