Square Hue is a monthly nail polish subscription with 3 surprise full size polishes in every box. Before it ships you know the name of the collection and the general look & feel, but the polishes themselves are a surprise! I love surprises!
As you can pause your membership & Square Hue donates a portion of its sales to charity, I signed up during a special offer last month so I can nab a box that I love the photo of!
The Description: Monthly surprise subscription of 3 3-free themed polishes per month. Donates to great causes, not tested on animals, and made in the USA.
The Price: $21 per month
September 2013 Square Hue Serengeti Collection
You get three totally full-size polishes in every box. I had just painted my nails but I tested these out and was really impressed with the coverage and perfect viscosity of the polishes!
From left to right: Savanna Sundowner (a brown-gold olive shade with shimmer), Swahili Charm (dark chocolate brown), Grassland Safari ( a fall-friendly chartreuse)
These shades are perfect for fall. I’m going to have to take myself out of my comfort zone with brown & chartreuse – they aren’t typical colors for me (I tend towards blues & purples) but that’s why I love surprises! Personal growth can be attained through nail polish, right?
As you can see, the polishes totally match the vibe of the Square Hue preview! I was impressed with that!
October’s box is the Moto Collection! I’m guessing gunmetal gray, that beautiful orange, and that pretty pop of yellow. Great colors for deep into fall.
I think Square Hue is a great box and perfect if you want full-size polish without any fluff.
