It’s Friiiiday.
Whew, it’s Friday! I don’t know about y’all, but I am so ready to call this week done. Stick a fork in it done over see you later! I don’t know why, I’ve been kinda stressed and haven’t had the bestest week. Maybe because I booked a huge vacation, and 8 different plane fares.
Yes, EIGHT. 4 for the vacation, one for dad to visit over Veteran’s Day weekend (I have a class and need a babysitter, he works!), and 3 for us to visit Florida in December, then fly to Vermont, and then back home. Yes, we do spend all of our money on travel, which is funny, because my husband & I never used to vacation or spend barely any money on it at all! We’re counting the Disney trip & the trip to see the family as Christmas & birthdays for the kids and pretending that is ok.
I think that it would stress anyone out to drop that kind of cash on plane fares. And also, why can’t any of the websites save my companion traveler information? I can’t be the only person that finds that utterly annoying to put it in over & over.
I also spent all week booking Disney dining reservations. Which is stressful. It’s hard to do it with only three weeks notice (people plan this stuff years in advance and book 6 months in advance? I can’t deal with that). We have a ton of stuffed booked but my highlight is Jiko, which I haven’t been to in about 10 years, and I can’t believe it’s been that long! Bestie had a conference there back then and we had really the most amazing meal there. We decided the kids were old enough to drag them around to fancy food. As long as they aren’t asleep!
I just got my Glossybox survey and I’m like UGH so over surveys. All the surveys are so long I don’t even know if people are being honest anymore or just checking boxes for the points. When you have TWO PAGES for each product, don’t we think that’s getting to be a little bit much?! I rarely fill out my Glossybox survey, it’s too much hassle. I think I missed a free box already because of it. Bad Brandy!
This is not a happy Friday post at all! This is a whiney terrible post but I wrote it & that’s what’s on my mind!
