Second, due to an increased traffic load MommySplurge has moved hosting providers. The site is now hosted by Media Temple. This should provide much better uptime for everyone. If you are also outgrowing your hosting or looking for a provider, you can check them out. Usually I do all my backend stuff myself, but the site move was too big for me to handle (my WordPress database size is out of control – but that’s an issue for another day and managing traffic came first). So I used Media Temple’s Cloudhost service and they moved everything over for me! It was only $150 and worth every penny!
Third, now that the move is over I’m working on upgrading my database! If you have any input for me before that happens, please let me know! I would love to incorporate your suggestions into the next iteration. Suggestions might include what it looks like, what information to provide, if you like new separate posts when something new comes along, that sort of stuff.
