Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEEE! - So What Wednesday?

SO WHAT if I know it’s going to be a great birthday tomorrow, I can just feel it! I have nothing planned and maybe if we’re lucky I can get up my birthday party post. Yes we had a party. Yes, it involved the long-promised coconut flour mini-donuts. Yes, it was awesome. So what if it’s not done? So what if I’m just telling you right here to go read Alicia’s thoughts on Greener Birthday Parties? Or Ryan’s post on Birthday Travel Adventures?

So what if… (and so what if this is not entirely on topic? First, so what, and second, it’s my birthday, so I can totally do whatever I want…right?!)

I found my birthday iPad Mini that my children lost. Yay. It was offline and I couldn’t make it play a sound. I was really sad/furious. It was under the recliner. We also found the cover. It was behind the bed. How these things ended up in these two places is beyond me.
I found out I’m getting the Summer FabFitFun VIP box for review. Yessssss. Happy Birthday to meeeeee!. I have spoilers here, or you could just go buy it. Like a surprise. Don’t we love those? I love surprises! And new things! That’s why you’re reading this blog right now. Because you like new things. It’s ok, we all do.
I have had an awesome week with my kids, who have been totally happy. Having dad here, even for a few days, kind of resets them. Also we have had SO SO much fun with subscription boxes this week. I feel better too when my husband is here. I miss him 🙁 So I booked tickets for him to come back for the weekend in a couple weeks. Hoping he can work from home starting in a few months. FINGERS CROSSED.

I know I’m going wake up in the morning to my grandma’s phone call when she sings happy birthday and makes my grandpa sing with her and then tells him he’s doing it wrong. HAPPENS EVERY YEAR AND I LOVE IT. SO WHAT?! Last year I didn’t pick up the phone on purpose and have a hilarious voicemail of it. SO WHAT!
