It’s August Julep Maven selection time! This month Julep is introducing the Garden Party Collection. This one is a little different and I think I love that!  Instead of all the colors flowing right together there’s more variety for different color preferences.top-banner

What Julep Maven box are you getting for August? If you’re not a Julep Maven already you can join up with code FREEBOX to get a complimentary intro box! I’m totally not sure what my favorite is this month!

Julep’s two new beauty products of the month are the Doublestep Foot Treatment & Friction Stick and the Moisture Mask Trio. The Doublestep Stick moisturizes, stimulates circulation, and prevents blisters. The Doublestep Stick uses Vitamin E, shea butter, and chili pepper oil !!! There are no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates in the Stick. Julep says the nail masks in the Mask Trio will not interfere with touchscreens. Hmm. I didn’t know that was a problem. Okay! The Mask Trio contains masks infused with collagen, shea butter, and botanical extracts.

Eh…. Underwhelmed this month. I’ve loved the last couple of months so much, I guess u can’t love ’em all! I’d prob switch to It Girl and add on the Metallics if I was going to so it, but I’m going to pass for the first time ever! (My phone changes “metallics” to “Metallica”, which I love! Metallica is way cooler than this polish collection! LOL!)

I considered adding the orange. I had a bad experience getting bullied in high school for wearing orange nail polish. This was the early-mid 90s before colors of nail polish besides red and pink were mainstream. They were actually extremely difficult to find back then. I guess I was just too cool for my school. 🙂

The orange is definitely holding me back from It Girl. I’m not an orange fan and my son probably has enough orange to paint his teensy nails for quite some time! that is terrible though. why do people even care much less bully someone? 🙁

I don’t have any orange and I wanted it to share with my son, too! I thought the navy and yellow will probably work for him too, though.

Mine will wear anything. He really liked the pastel purple from the July Popsugar box!

My son wasn’t impressed with that color when he saw it on my nails. I like it though!

I changed to bombshell for this month. I love the navy and yellow! The boho was nice too, and I considered that one too.

I still haven’t decided! It’s weird, but I’m kinda loving that brown. The blue Lacey is totally gorgeous too. I should go paint my nails and meditate on it.
