I am so excited! My guest post is up at Stuff Parents Need! I wrote about realistic chores for preschoolers and toddlers. I really wanted to share some advice for those of you looking for ways to increase your growing child’s responsibility levels without overwhelming them or expecting them to clean the house for you. You can see from the first picture on the post that I don’t have house beautiful – I am not naturally a cleaner! But my kids do pitch in because I work really hard to make sure they do and to create opportunities to help them learn how to clean. Take advantage of the period of time when they think it is fun and they will be used to it (even if they don’t like it) when they are older.
Please go read my post and check out Tiffany’s blog. I love it, it’s one of my favorites.
Since we’re finally back home and all I’ve done is pack and unpack for the last two months, guess what we’re doing today?! Yes, cleaning! As a family!
