I wanted to update everyone on some changes to Wittlebee’s service, some questions I had for them, and the CS answers. They are all good (except one). If you would like to sign up and haven’t yet, I would love it if you used my Wittlebee link!

The Bad

Let’s get it out of the way. No more stylist notes. What a bummer. I had on my daughter’s box a note that she was round – no pants! Only leggings and the like. On my son’s (he’s up next) I would have used that space to note things like… we already have the constellation shirt and don’t need another.  Or that I abhor plain clothing for little boys. Boys’ options are so limited and I love to dress up my guy!  So I am disappointed at this change but it’s understandable. As Wittlebee grows they will have less time to look at the notes.

The Good

  • You can now select half your items for your box. Wittlebee is having an inventory hiccup as they roll this out, but I took a peek at customer selection and it was very easy to select the items.
  • Now, for those items that you get to choose, they can be either gender and any size. WONDERBAR! I can make a mixed box for my kids, select a gift for something else, or stock up for the future if I desire.
  • If you skipped your box for the month and want to unskip, all you have to do is get in contact with customer service. They are very responsive! I love being able to email customer service about anything instead of having to call. Half my life is in the subway and I transact a lot of email during that time.

Wittlebee‘s monthly subscription box contains six items of kids clothing based on your style profile and sizes. Wittlebee boxes are $39.99 + 5.99 shipping per month (and it’s easy to skip). When you sign up you take a short quiz – gender, preferred color schemes, and clothing items you prefer (long sleeve, onesies, etc.). Wittlebee is available for girls and boys, sizes 0-3 months all the way up to size 6.

Wittlebee does a fantastic job of selecting the items and under $8 per item (shipped), it is a great bargain. Also see the Wittlebee subscription box directory listing.
