I recently received the Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat in my February Julep subscription box. I got Joan and Sally in my box for polish colors and the Oxygen nail treatment too (hint, it lasts about 3 days nicely, 4 if you’re lucky, then I needed to take it off).
On Monday night I did my nails with Joan and covered with the Freedom Top Coat. It really did dry under 5 minutes as promised (key for moms. KEY!) and it went on with pretty much one swipe. It leveled off very quickly. I’m not sure about the super gel-like shine after 2.5 full days of wear. It doesn’t quite have that gel finish indestructible glow… but it’s not really a gel polish so that’s fine. I got an email from Julep giving me a hint to reapply the topcoat every other day to extend the life of my polish.
I never thought of that before! Anyways, here’s what it looks like on Thursday afternoon.
Usually my nail polish would be half off by now, so I am super happy with this top coat! And I love the color too!
I can’t wait to try Sally. So far it’s only gone on baby E’s toes!
Sign up for Julep Maven and get your first box for just one cent with code PENNY. It is very easy to skip or cancel and really worth a try for so little. On my penny order I bought the Matte topcoat and got free shipping on my whole order instead of paying the shipping on just the box.
