Use It or Lose It: Samples!

I do not choose to spend my time doing any sort of major cleaning. Instead, I like to implement systems for making sure all my household tasks get done on a rotating basis (yep, I even have clean the microwave on a recurring schedule in my task manager).

In January I am focusing on sample sizes. You can see in my Vine below what I chose for this week. I’ve used up quite a bit of samples this month already but still have more to go.

[pullquote] It’s so wasteful not to use up the samples and buy a full size product instead!  Choose to use your resources wisely. [/pullquote]

My philosophy is that if I’m going to spend the time requesting a sample or if I’ve purchased it, or whatever, that it’s gotta be used. For the longest time I have thrown samples in a bucket for travel but I have learned that 1) I never really take them with me, as my hotel always has what I need (or I take a full size product with me that’s under the 3.3 oz limit) and 2) even if I did take them with me I have far far more samples then I could ever use up traveling!

It’s time for a challenge!

So, go pick out five samples RIGHT NOW, put them out on your vanity or counter or wherever it is you’ll use them!  If you don’t use them at all during the week and they are unopened samples, place them in a quart or gallon size container for repurposing later.

Why do I say five? It’s part of my pick 5 system, which I’ll discuss as we go along! Happy Sampling!

What samples are you using up this week?
