My October

Juniper

came at just the right time – when my kids were clamoring for some c-a-n-d-y. As a result, it was, ahem, torn into rather quickly, but enjoyed nonetheless. Sometimes it’s enough that someone sends you candy at that TOM, even if you aren’t the one eating it. Truth be told, I’d much rather have my kids enjoy a few top end treats than dig into mass quantities of crap chocolate. Once I took the kids to the store, bought a few pounds of strawberries and a bar of great chocolate, and then we went on a picnic. It’s the little things, yes? And that’s what Juniper is all about, the little things!

The Subscription: Juniper

The Description: Juniper comes with your products, treats and indulgences, and things to make your period easier (pain relief!). When you sign up with Juniper you tell it anything special about your period and your preferred products.

The Price: $28/month

I had to work fast once the monsters realized chocolate was hiding in here!

The only shot I got without little hands 🙂

Mighty Leaf Tea I don’t drink tea, so the loveliness of these is totally lost on me, but I hear they’re quite nice!

Nature’s Kick Honey Sticks I also decline to eat pure sugar, but my kids think these are the bee’s knees, if ya know what I mean!

Book Lover’s Milk Chocolate I like few milk chocolates, and I thought this one was fabulous!

TCHO PureNotes Dark Chocolates Four beautiful squares of chocolate; the wrappers were pretty swell, too.

Amella Gray Sea Salt Caramels These were so so soft, it really surprised me! Maybe because they’re made with agave. The sweetness was set off perfectly by the gray sea salt.

New Tree Orange Pearls These tasted not at all as I expected! I thought they were going to be weird, but they were delightful. I loved that each pearl could be its own serving and to that end, they came in a resealable pouch!

The Goods Oh yeah, Juniper has all your monthly goodies – tampons, liners, pain relief, etc. As if we cared!
