The November

Babba Box

is the last month of a premium 3 month subscription I picked up on a special deal. I’m not really sure what’s going on with

Babba Box

, except it appears that you can no longer subscribe to it! You can redeem a voucher and you can purchase a one-time box, but that’s it.

The Subscription: Babba Box

The Description: A creative exploration subscription box for kids aged 3-7. It’s a premium kids activity box that you can open, take everything out, and have a great family activity with your kids! Digital, Basic, and Premium boxes are available.

The Price: $14-40 per month

For the most part, the stuff in

Babba Box

Premium doesn’t need a box, but it comes with one anyways. The regular subscription (did) come in a mailer.

It’s tissued, also not necessary, but nice.

Notecards – Mom Gift I appreciated this mom gift the most. My previous boxes had cheap polish & an owl bookmark. For a paper book.

All the

Babba Box

activities come with these neat printed cards on a metal ring.

A Letter to Amy – Ezra Jack Keats This was a sweet book, maybe a bit over the heads of my kids (there were boy-girl interactions). I love the reading guide!

Snail Mail Game We had so much fun with this game! You draw cards to match colors and when someone gets a snowflake they have to put back their cards. We played it over & over. It’s a nice easy game and perfect for the ages of my children. I find they get bored/frustrated with harder games. I think older kids would get bored of this one quickly though.

Pen Pal Puzzle Color the alphabet, draw a picture on the back, and mail it away.

The included crayons were waxy and didn’t work well with the puzzle. We switched to markers. If I didn’t have enough art supplies to cover a kindergarten classroom for a year, I would’ve been frustrated.

Coloring pages Two simple coloring pages, I photocopy these.

Mail Bag The crayons *did* work well on the game piece bag, so I made a cute mail bag for the kids.

Family Love Notes This activity kept the kids busy for a long time and I know it will continue to. I skipped putting the foam pieces on the mail box and used the gold star activity completion stickers (always inside the main notecard) to decorate it.

Too cute!

There are some parts about

Babba Box

that we really truly enjoy, but for the high price, I don’t think the value is here in this box. I’m happy with this one because of the game – the kids squealed and laughed the whole time. Tons of giggles! Of course you get the book, too, it just seems like the materials could be of slightly better quality (the crayons really irked me!) but to be sure we had an engaging day doing lots of fun activities with the box.

If you’re looking to subscribe to a kids box, check out the ones on the links below (that actually offer subscriptions!).
