So I sat down to write this review for the November

, and realized that I FORGOT A PHOTO OF THE TUBE! That’s crazy, and so was the sheer mass of boxes I received today. Forgive me? Here’s our last NBTT craft to compensate! (I’ve been waiting for a great time to post this!) Yes, we made a weenie roaster! So if you need to see what the tube looks like, please take yourself to the prior New Beauty Test Tube Review, where you can view it. It’s the same. IMG_0009

… Whoops! Sorry! I forgot! Votiva Candle in Icy Blue Pine ($11) I have to be honest, I don’t love this scent. If you visit the link you’ll see this is a discontinued candle – it’s just the packaging, which is nicer now. I assume the scent is the same. I am gifting this one! Here’s all the products! Why I forgot to show the tube we’ll (including myself) never know… Nice haul! Sometimes I say I’ll go back and take a photo, but I never do, because I try to put everything away immediately. Molton Brown Pink Pepperpod Nourishing Body Lotion ($14) This scent was surprisingly light but smells great! I really love it and I’m afraid I’m going to get addicted (it’s expensive but this is a huge sample). Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips ($2) Even though petroleum might be totally bad I am addicted to Vaseline and to these little pods in particular, which I ordered off Amazon last year so I could put one EVERYWHERE. This new PINK version is super pretty and a super great pick. I could see this one being perfect for before bed. Wink wink & all that. This stuff isn’t even on the website yet! Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy in French Vanilla ($5) I love it when scents are really true to their names, and this one really is a French vanilla. Very thick and left my hands very soft. Then I wanted to eat them. glō therapeutic refresh facial polish ($14) Head’s up, if you got this box, visit the URL on the side of the box for a $15 off coupon! This is an exfoliator with jojoba beads, borage oil, and açai oil. It’s very minty smelling (even through the seal), I’m not sure if I can use it – it may go in the trade pile! StriVectin-EV ($52) Holy moly this is a HUGE sample. I’d previously received one of these in my Bluum box. I didn’t purchase it again but I appreciate the giant value this represents. Lumene Time Freeze Anti-Age Cream in Medium ($15) I put this on my cheek area and so far so good. This is a rather light colored medium, so it works. I really liked the soft finish! Frizz-Ease Smoothing Crème ($1.34) This is for if you want straight hair. I do not. I wasn’t really happy with the Frizz-Ease stuff, but I’ll rehome it with family. Dove Hair Therapy Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture & Conditioner ($1) The last time New Beauty TestTube sent me shampoo & conditioner I ended up falling in love with it, so I won’t complain about these at all. However, I’m sure I’ll prefer the Pantene. My November New Beauty TestTube was over $110 in value (plus the value of the samples)! I didn’t get the special jeweled Vaseline, and I can’t be sad about it, because I use those little guys so quickly that it would be a bit of a waste.  I must admit, I preferred the previous tube (my new favorite brush is much more likeable than my candle), but you know what, it’s THIRTY DOLLARS A TUBE (plus tax/shipping) but seriously, why wouldn’t you get this sucker?  Even when I don’t care for something (like the stuff for curly hair – regular readers know I have really fine hair!), the value I get really does exceed what I paid.
