CAUSEBOX is a quarterly subscription box curated with socially conscious products for women. In each box you’ll receive 5-8 seasonal lifestyle products that are focused on ethical and sustainable production, donate a percent of profits to charity, or aim to inspire and empower others.

DEAL: Save $10 on your first box with coupon code WELCOME10!

There’s a mini magazine included in this box with all the item info.

A message from the curators!

Love the layout – it indeed looks like a magazine.

There are even full-length articles and beautiful photos inside…

As well as healthy recipes!

Tips and tricks are a great addition to the magazine too.

The makers of the products are also featured, which details the stories and causes behind each item.

Can’t wait to dig in!

Everything in the Summer 2017 box! The meaningful items in your box will make you reflect, bring some beauty in your life, and benefit social programs.

Shelley Steer Relax Art Print – The colors on this print are indeed relaxing to look at!

It’s an original artwork by Shelley Steer for Causebox.

About the artist: Shelley Steer is a freelance textile designer and illustrator. She uses a range of hand and computer generated processes.

Haiti Design Co Tassel Keychain – A simple but stylish keychain made by Haitian artisans made out of very high quality vegetable tanned leather.

About the brand: Haiti Design Co. provides full-time, sustainable, and meaningful work to Haitian artisans. They also have a super awesome looking artisan subscription box – thinking we’ll have to review it!

The Mason Bar Mason Jar Tumblr Lid ($5.95) A plastic and BPA-free lid. It’s so pretty in mint green!

This will make it easier for us to enjoy cold drinks even when we’re on the go.

The Mason Bar Company The Original Mason Jar Tumbler +Metal Sipping Straw ($13.95) Of course we need a tumbler to go with the lid.

This 24 ounce mason jar fits just right into cup holders. Made of glass.

All Good Coconut Sunstick SPF 30 ($8.99) This sunstick is just so handy! It comes in a size that is very easy to stash in a summer tote and bring out to use wherever you are. Ingredients include organic oils like jojoba, coconut and avocado.

2 exclusive Pura Vida Bracelets – Light and cute accessories to pair with summer outfits or to take to the beach!

The bracelets come in a small handmade pouch that says “every bracelet purchased helps provide full-time jobs for local artisans in Costa Rica.”

Lovely colors! And it’s just good to know that they’re being sold for a great cause, just like everything else in this box.

Altru All-Cotton Hardcover Journal & Bookmark – Made by artisans in Jaipur, India this is the CUTEST notebook!

This is handmade and made of 100% recycled cotton and is the second item from the new CAUSEBOX housewares brand.

It measures 6 in x 8 1/2 in. The perfect journal to fill with summer memories!

I like the quality and the softness of the journal pages.

The journal even comes with a bookmark carrying a positive message: “She believed she could, so she did.”

At the back of the bookmark is a short story about its makers and the pink marbling on the front. This makes the bookmark even more special! I love the story about his marbling obsession!

Kalos Conscious Skin Triple Threat Detox Mask ($34.12) It leaves the skin soft and rejuvenated, thanks to glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid and coenzyme Q10.

It takes 15 to 30 minutes for the skin to absorb the masque. Make sure to wash your face first before applying a thick layer. Wonder why it is called a “triple threat”? Because it doesn’t just cleanse the skin, it also nourishes and exfoliates with those little raspberry seeds. This is a super spa treatment.

Nashelle Jewelry Ring – A pretty ring in a giftable paper pouch from Nashelle, which donates food with every purchase.

It’s a gold filled ring! Can you guess what the design is?

Apparently, it represents a wave – something to remind us of the beauty of the ocean even when summer is over. The ring is adjustable and is actually quite large.

Kuli Kuli Pure Moringa Vegetable Powder ($2.63) For a healthy smoothie!

No artificial flavors, vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO! According to their website, 1 tbsp. (10g) is equal to two cups of leafy greens – that’s 50% of your daily value of iron. Since I got diagnosed with anemia this week, I’m all about this (and busting out my iron fish!).

We also received several coupon codes from this month’s box (unbelievably the Haiti Design Co coupon works on their subscription!).

I thought this season’s box was fantastic – my only complaint is that my first box showed up without the sunscreen, ring, bracelets, and keychain, and CAUSEBOX mentioned that they hadn’t heard any complaints about that yet. Well, that’s nice, but it happened to me! Out of thousands of boxes reviewed, I can think of only one other box we’ve purchased that just missed half the box entirely. Fortunately CAUSEBOX ended up expediting me an entirely new box so I can attest that their customer service is ultimately good. The total value was over $160 and I’m really happy with the fair trade items with a purpose we received for $54.95! Surprisingly, this box is still available – use code WELCOME10 to grab it!
