BookCase.Club is a monthly book subscription box where you’ll receive two hand-picked books in one of eight genres. (For the children’s picture book box you’ll get four books!) This is an inexpensive book subscription – less than $15 including shipping per month! This box is all about the books and with the amount I’ve been reading lately I love it.

When you sign up, you’ll pick the genre. I selected Blind Date because I love Paranormal Romance novels!

DEAL:  Save 15% on your subscription. Use coupon code HelloSub.

First look into my box and there isn’t much to this one. There are two books in the box with some themed tissue paper and a bookmark.

The June Blind Date books, Truthseeker by C.E. Murphy ($12.15) and The Traitor’s Daughter by Paula Brandon ($8.08).

The information for the books is on the back of the bookmark that comes in the box. It has the boxes print on one side and then a little teaser for the book on the other side. This month only had one of the books on their. I’m not sure if that meant they sent out different second books or if it was just a mistake but the bookmark works either way so not a big issue.

Truthseeker by C.E. Murphy ($12.15) – This is the first of the 2 books in the Worldwalker Duology. I love both procedurals and paranormal so mixing the two with a murder and romance sounds like a great read for me.

ACROSS TWO EXTRAORDINARY WORLDS, TRUTH IS THE DEADLIEST MAGIC

Gifted with an uncanny intuition, Lara Jansen nonetheless thinks there is nothing particularly special about her. All that changes when a handsome but mysterious man enters her quiet Boston tailor shop and reveals himself to be a prince of Faerie. What’s more, Dafydd ap Caerwyn claims that Lara is a truthseeker, a person with the rare talent of being able to tell truth from falsehood. Dafydd begs Lara to help solve his brother’s murder, of which Dafydd himself is the only suspect.

Acting against her practical nature, Lara agrees to step through a window into another world. Caught between bitterly opposed Seelie forces and Dafydd’s secrets, which are as perilous as he is irresistible, Lara finds that her abilities are increasing in unexpected and uncontrollable ways. With the fate of two worlds at stake and a malevolent entity wielding the darkest of magic, Lara and Dafydd will risk everything on a love that may be their salvation—or the most treacherous illusion of all.

The Traitor’s Daughter by Paula Brandon($8.08) – This is the first of 3 books in the Veiled Isles Trilogy. I’m really drawn to the cover of this one and the period dresses. I love a good period drama and this one sounds intriguing.

Here’s the beginning of a lush, epic, wholly original new trilogy that shines with magic, mystery, and captivating drama.

On the Veiled Isles, ominous signs are apparent to those with the talent to read them. The polarity of magic is wavering at its source, heralding a vast upheaval poised to alter the very balance of nature. Blissfully unaware of the cataclysmic events to come, Jianna Belandor, the beautiful, privileged daughter of a powerful Faerlonnish overlord, has only one concern: the journey to meet her prospective husband.  But revolution is stirring as her own conquered people rise up against their oppressors, and Jianna is kidnapped and held captive at a rebel stronghold, insurance against what are perceived as her father’s crimes.

The resistance movement opens Jianna’s eyes―and her heart. Despite her belief in her father’s innocence, she is fascinated by the bold and charming nomadic physician and rebel sympathizer, Falaste Rione—who offers Jianna her only sanctuary in a cold and calculating web of intrigue. As plague and chaos grip the land, Jianna is pushed to the limits of her courage and resourcefulness, while virulent enemies discover that alliance is their only hope to save the human race.

Two more new to me books from BookCase.Club this month. They are both the first in their series which if they prove to be like others I’ve gotten in these boxes I will soon be looking to buy the next books in the sets. I love getting some authors that I would not have found otherwise and getting new books to read each month. As I’ve said before I love to read and especially with summer coming up I will be going through them even faster. This is a great low cost subscription with an option for the book lover in all of us.

Have you tried BookCase.Club? What did you think of this month’s selections?
