The Target Art & Craft Kit is a monthly art & craft subscription for kids ages 4-10. You’ll receive a different crafting activity each month.

TIPS: Use your Target Red Card for a discount. Plus, be sure to subscribe to the kit for an additional 5% off!

Crayola Art With Edge Naturescapes ($14.99)

Like the first month, we received a single commercially available craft kit. Last month’s craft came in under the subscription price, this one was equivalent to the price.

I like the reusable storage case!

20 Crayola fine line markers were included.

My husband had fun with this one!

The box also came with 20 nature scenes.

This set seems to take advantage of the coloring trend. It’s a great low-key stress relieving activity.

Here’s a peek at some of detailed coloring pages. This subscription is designed for ages 4-10, but this set was marked as age 9+. Let’s see how they did!

My daughter, 8, wasn’t feeling well this weekend and she was excited about this set.

She didn’t complete any art, but she certainly enjoyed coloring in the swirls.

My son, 6, really had a blast. Although we actually ended up liking this kit, I’m less than impressed with this subscription. It’s more like an automatic craft delivery than a subscription box, and the value is disappointing.

Right on the subscription page some of these higher value craft kits are shown. Target would do well to think of providing some of these great kits (click here to see more). We’ll do one more month, but we can’t see very many people truly interested in this subscription with such a poor value – especially as these kits certainly go on sale. We recommend checking out the Kids Art & Craft subscriptions if this subscription isn’t providing the value you expect.

Did you grab a Target Art & Craft Kit this month? Let me know what you thought!

I share the same sentiments as Brandy. I cancelled my subscription after receiving the April box.

This is the second month now and both activities were designed for the 8-10 age range. Sad for those with younger children. It would be better to break it up into 2 age groups so we can sub to he appropriate one.
