Nerd Block Jr is a subscription box for boys or girls ages 6-11 (you pick the box – boy or girl) that is a monthly surprise of fun little toys for your little nerd. They’re part of the Nerd Block Family – check any of them out here.

DEAL: Save 15% on your first month with coupon code HelloSub16.

The outside of the box is so cute and fun, and the information card has a puzzle! This is a fun box for a child to receive!

Everything in the February 2017 box!

Pikachu Socks ($3)

These are really cute and my daughter is definitely a fan, but the sizing translates to women’s sizes 5-10, so I wasn’t thrilled with them in the box. I am more than certain my daughter will wear them anyways but I wish they would have used kids’ sizes.

Live.love.music. Emoji Headphones ($12.99)

Now these are a hit! Emoji everything is a must right now and these are just darling and on-trend. Since my daughter’s school uses headphones in class we need to replace them a few times a year, and these are just perfect. She’s really just ? to take them in and show them off.

InkWorks Shopkins 5-Pack Gel Pens ($4.99)

The elementary age crowd is notorious for their use of pencil sharpeners, Scotch tape, and colored pens and markers. So I was psyched to get these fun Shopkins ones. I am not sure what she spends all night writing, but she does, and she thought they were soooooo cute.

We did have issues getting green to work.

The Little Mermaid Decal ($3.99) I think this decal is sort of meant for your car, but it works on a window, sliding glass door, or mirror. We went for bathroom mirror and Ariel is right at home in our Disney bathroom!

Frozen Tin With Olaf Necklace ($3.99?)

This necklace arrives presentation style in the cute Olaf tin.

My daughter’s still a FROZEN fan, so she liked this one, although I wouldn’t be surprised if her little brother stole it from her – it’s blue and has Olaf!

Fun!

National Geographic Kids March 2017 Issue ($4.99)

This magazine is a huge hit with my kid, She reads it cover to cover and we are always happy when it’s included in the box. It’s full of fun facts and stories about science and nature.

ShirtPunch! Emoji T-Shirt ($12?) no, that’s not a froyo. It’s a pink poopmoji! My daughter thought this was ah-mazing, and I got a good laugh, too!

TIP: if you or your kids like shirts more fitted than youth sizes, get a women’s size small, which this is. We do it for both boys & girls shirts, and it works great.

Nerd Block Shop $10 Credit

We think this is a fun box and the addition of the shirt has really helped the value. My daughter thinks it’s a great box and typically uses everything in it. Nerd Block seems to be great at finding cutesy licensed items that seem popular with girls her age. I wasn’t fond of the too large socks this month but we were pretty happy with everything else.

What did you think of this month’s Nerd Block Jr: Girls?

March’s box will include Pokemon, Emoji and Angry Bird items.

About the tshirt sizes, my son gets loot crate and the men’s small is too big and they don’t have kids sizes. Womans small equivalent to a boy 10-12?? Cut differently???
