Luxor Box Petite Subscription Box Review – September 2016

Luxor Box Petite is the mini-box version of the luxurious bi-monthly women’s lifestyle subscription box full of high-end products and treasures: home, body, bath, accessories, jewelry, and more! The Petite Box promises 2-4 full-size products compared to the 5-9 full-size products in the regular size box.

A fragile sticker on a box makes my heart race with excitement. Luxor Box, how I wished I purchased the full-size box. Beautiful, useful items are what I am about. Nevertheless, I will be content with my petite box. I keep telling myself I do not need to email Luxor to see if there is an extra full-size box waiting to come home to me.

However, if I did email Luxor and if a box is available, I will have two Heirluminare round candles. Hmmm.

Easy gifting is at hand when ordering the Luxor Box. Everything comes in its original packaging whether it is items in the full or petite size boxes.

Here are the items in the Luxor Petite September box!

I am excited that the Mottahedeh Heirluminare Cobalt Blue Lace Petite Round Vessel ($60.00) is included in the Petite box! Subscribers could receive one of four variations, Green Lace, Cobalt Blue Lace, Cornflower Lace, or Green Apple Lace. I received the Cobalt Blue Lace. The candle is nestled in a beautiful box that has a high quality foam-like material to support the bottom during shipping.

I believe that this is the first candle I ever received with the wick protected.

The lid has a gorgeous design. I removed the product information sticker after taking the picture. The porcelain vessel is made in Portugal by an amazing company that also creates museum reproductions. The vessel is a work of art.

The vessel holds a two ounce candle that has a burn time of about 13 hours.

The candle is made from a four vegetable oil blend that does not contain palm oil. The fragrance is created in Provence, France. The candles are made in small batches to ensure quality control. The fragrance I received was rose, ginger and mandarin flower.

The complex scent was light and airy.  It smelled uplifting, clean, and a little spicy. The top notes are bergamot, lemon, mandarin flower. The heart notes are tuberose, jasmine, ginger, and ylang-ylang. The background notes are cedarwood, amber, vanilla, and cinnamon.

I was very surprised and happy to see the Rose et Marius Eau de Toilette Roll On (.5 oz, $40.00). I was hoping for a Rose et Marius perfume in my Luxor Box Inventory Closeout “Mystery” Box and did not receive it.

The solid packaging kept the roll on safe during its journey to me. The roll on is topped with a leather cap. Subscribers could receive one of four different fragrances. I received the L’eau De Mademoiselle  Rose Herbal which is a light herbal scent. Perfect for me.

The essence is distilled in Grasse, France. The top notes are verbena, coriander, basil, fennel blossom, and green tomato leaf. The heart notes are star aniseed, peppermint, vetiver, and sandalwood. The base notes are tonka beans and myrrh. I love the light, herbal scent which is long lasting!

The September Luxor Petite Box is one of my favorite Luxor Boxes. I greatly loved the items and the scents. The beauty of the petite round vessel and the scent of the roll on captivated me. I greatly liked this box much more than my July Luxor Petite Box and wished I ordered the full-size box too! This box and the full-size September box showcases the type of items that I would love to receive from Luxor. The value is $100.00 which is excellent.  The Luxor Box Petite is a great way to enjoy a few items from the full-size Luxor Box.
