YumeTwins is a monthly Kawaii subscription brought to you by the same people behind TokyoTreat! Every month you’ll receive an assortment of super cute and adorable kawaii products from Japan.
The theme for this box is Lovable Animals.
There’s a lot of feature articles inside the magazine. One of them – the Kawaii Trend of the month – features kawaii hair colors. This one shows fun things to do in Harajuku.
Like with TokyoTreat, there’s an adorable colourful magazine included that contains the product info, facts about Japan, information on contests, and so on. The quality is really high, which goes along with the rest of the box!
Everything in the August 2016 YumeTwins Box! Everything is so kawaii!
Shinada Fluffy Animal Plush: We love the soft neutral colors of this curly haired cutie! Subscribers could have received pig, frog, bear, bunny, or lamb!
The attention to detail was excellent with a little pig tail and pig feet!
Merarou Towel: This limited edition design is only available in a few select spots!
Once again I thought the neutral colors were great: we can be kawaii in all colors!
Amuse Alpacasso Plushie: Rainbow Alpacasso! An excellent alpaca for brightening up your day!
You can hang Alpacasso anywhere but he stands too! And is very cheery!
Re-Ment Mare Sweets Mascot: Re-Ment makes highly popular mini food items and Mare is a popular Japanese television drama. They collaborated on this series but I don’t get it. Some extra info would be great! Valerie says: Mare is a Japanese dorama about a girl named Mare who wants to be a pastry chef. That’s why all of the Re-Ment miniatures were cakes!
The box included a sheet with all the variations, the piece for the keychain, and the ubiquitous weird gum.
MWAH! Super cute!
Pompompurin Letter Set: An entire starionery set was included, with paper, envelopes, and seals!
Popmpompudin is so sweet – and loves sweets too. What a cute item!
Pompompurin Pen:I happened to get a pen that matched my stationery but subscribers could have received Fudetama or Hello Kitty as well. They’re all cute and fun and it jazzed up a boring routine to have a fun pen.
Neko Atsume Memo Pad: This is a really substantial memo pad with loads of pages!
There are 4 designs – Two vertical and two horizontal.
Snacks! Which cats came to visit?
Gudetama Limp Mascot: Gudetama in a squishy egg!
The mini mag shows a clear egg but ours is gold!
The laziest egg! It was hard to get a snap of it but he is full featured with cute yolk buns. We all loved playing with this one and despite his laziness, I keep on finding him all over the house – he’s a real hit!
If you want to try this box you can save $5 off a premium Tokyo Treat box or Yume Twins box subscription for life! Just use coupon code FOREVER5 by the end of August!
