Unplugged Dusti Screen Cleaner ($6) I like these in theory and they work really well, but I always seem to muck them up. Probably because I let my kids use them (but confession, I immediately got popcorn dust all over them. Whoops!). You can wash them off which is fantastic!
I decided to keep them at my monitor to fix any screen nastiness. My kids are always touching my monitor!
Cargo Cosmetics Big Easy Powder Blush ($26) This “sheer pink with gold and red grapefruit undertones” is pure loveliness.
This swatch here is multiple layers – the color layers absolutely beautifully to provide a kiss of peachy pink wherever you need it and full-on blush in just the right spot. I’m a fan.
Triple C Power Gloss in Silver ($30) So I totally thought this had actual lip gloss in it and I spent at least 3 full minutes trying to take it apart. I thought this was a little boring and I didn’t have a huge need for another tiny charger (I love the big flat bricks with lots of juice). This will be great for my kids. I just didn’t get into this item.
Cookie Pop Popcorn in Cookies and Cream ($4) This popcorn is like crack. The card says it’s a salty-and-sweet taste, and it’s not. It’s pure sugar.
And so good. I ate nearly the whole bag. It’s like Oreo popcorn. This is the second day and I’m polishing it off right now. I cannot help myself.
Even though there are 6 servings. Shush. Also, sorry POPSUGAR, but #youdidnteatthat if you called it salty.
Christian Lacroix Paris Pasio Sticky Note Folio ($13) Love the ombré outside to this – and I now have my fingers crossed there might be another Lacroix item in the Fall limited edition box.
The notes themselves are WILD. I’m thinking a white gelly roll would be the perfect pen to accent these – wish it had been included in the box.
Baggu Duck Tote Bag ($26) This came in a variety of patterns. I got black. Just plain black. It’s a well made bag but it was a let-down to open the box to a basic black bag.
It has an inner pocket and is super sturdy. I really feel like the bag pattern (or lack thereof) makes or breaks this box and despite being a major I only wear black kind of person – it just didn’t do it for me! However, I’ve cooked up a totally brilliant idea – I finally have a bag for sewing on patching and displaying lots of my enamel pins. It’s going to be fabulous!
This box had a retail value of about $105 – and I thought it was a bit boring. It definitely wasn’t a big hit for me (my favorite item was the popcorn!) and it arrived excessively late on August 29.
