Mister Ghost’s Highly Enviable Monthly Parcel of Simple Yet Amazing Wonderments is a monthly paper and stationery subscription box for $12 per month (shipping was $3.10 to us). You’ll get a box with a haunted newspaper, 4 stickers, an art print, an embroidered patch, 2 notebooks, and 2 greeting cards. At first look, this box appears to have Halloween as its monthly theme!
The box came with this newspaper style insert. It comes with haunted stories and editorials, plus news around the Netherworld!
The four-page paper is complete with ads and articles — one tells the story of the founding of the haunted village of”Peyroux,” (a one-time haunted pumpkin farm) where this paper circulates, making light of the potential difficulty in pronouncing the name.
The items are secured in a black paper envelope.
All the goodies this month! The actual contents of the box certainly follow a more intergalactic theme.
Stickers: These stickers are very nice quality, with a smooth surface and no hint of pixelation or printing artifacts. They are relatively thick, too, almost like nylon stickers.
Lunar Citizen Patch: Fully embroidered, this colorful patch proudly declares your citizenship on the Earth’s satellite.
Evil Supply Co. Greeting Cards: These cheeky cards have playfully apocalyptic imagery and blank interiors. Printed on thick card stock, each comes with a space-themed envelope.
Evil Supply Co. Notebooks: Each small notebook has silky, high-quality blank paper on the interior and is staple-bound. The covers have nice graphics and are printed on flexible card paper.
The back has a hilarious check-the-box “if lost, return to” list on the back.
Flamingo in Space Art Print: We aren’t sure of the actual name of this piece of art, but it is a lovely rendition of a ’50s table-top flamingo with retro, Jetsons-style glass bubble helmet. Slightly smaller than an sheet of paper, this piece is certainly suitable for framing.
This was a very cool collection of items. There was a little disconnect between the insert and the contents, but it seems that the Peyroux Times is a periodical that they produce independently of the box. The contents were fun and light-hearted. The price is also very affordable, so it’s a great way to bring a smile to anyone who journals or likes fun stationary and cards.
Note from Brandy: I thought this box was totally rad – plus it wins the award for longest subscription box name! I love how this box celebrates Halloween every day! A little dark humor, but wry, and the price is totally right on.
The Description: A curated collection of stationery, pins, greeting cards, postcards, small illustration prints & assorted artifacts. These guys definitely love Halloween!
The Price: $12.00 per month
The Categories: Paper & Stationery Subscription Boxes, Special Interest & Fan Subscription Boxes.

I was so looking forward to getting this every month after all the reviews I read but after paying for my first box in october, it is now dec 5th and I’m still waiting on the October box. By this date I would have already been charged for the nov box but I haven’t even received the oct one depite the boxes allegedly going out the second week of the month. Clearly they don’t plan ahead for holidays which means the nov box won’t be in until 2018! Hence, at this point I’ve cancelled because I have yet to even see what I paid for over a month ago! Very disappointed!!!
What a total bummer! I had no issues receiving it while I was subscribed, but many indie companies have consistency issues.
I love the title of this one. What a fun subscription.
Intergalatic flamingos!! Im loving it. Awesome box and great price point.
I loved the box too especially the cards and back of notebooks. However, anyone I would send them too would not understand why I would do it. Oh well, need new family and friends I guess.
