Kairos is a subscription service that promises to deliver a selection of 3-5 items monthly that are handmade meant to inspire creativity and happiness. The subscription is $30 a month — they do ship internationally for an extra $15. They also have a mini sized subscription as well which includes one item from the standard box, and is $10 a month.

Inside the flowered bubble mailer was another wrapped package!

The items were tucked into this mini canvas tote.

July is Kairos’ one year anniversary! We were sent a nice print. The product card is very small and doesn’t go into much detail.

Rifle Paper Company Notebooks ($10 for set of 2) I’ve never owned a Rifle Paper Company product before, not even kidding. It’s hard to find in Canada! These notebooks are small but have 64 pages each so they are pretty roomy. I really should carry a notebook and pen in my purse instead of relying on my phone. I like the gold foil detail and the Matisse quote.

My mom would love the bird pattern, so I’m going to slip it into her stocking at Christmas!

Wildflower Seed Coins ($10) I love this idea! I don’t have a garden but I love the idea of giving one to a friend or just leaving them behind to grow and bloom.

DIY Tote & Stamp ($10?) I’m not sure what price to put on this, honestly. This is a DIY project — stamp the pretty garden themed design onto your very own mini tote bag.

It’s hard to get a grand total on this month’s Kairos with the inclusion of a DIY kit, but I would say it would be either $30 or below. That’s the costs of the box, which is fine, but if you’re looking for a huge value I don’t think this is the sort of subscription you would go with. Additionally their mission statement is for handmade items, so I was expecting more of a focus on small businesses and crafters — the Rifle Paper Company notebooks are gorgeous but definitely not that sort of vibe. I didn’t dislike Kairos but it wasn’t what I was expecting. Still, I liked seeing what they put together to celebrate their one year anniversary.
