BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full size samples every month. In the past the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain a high value.

Beauty For Real Shadow Stx ($19) The shade I received was Ever Starstruck and it’s a perfectly versatile champagne color. This shadow is creamy on application, smudgeable, and then boom, it just stays.
This is a perfect highlighter shade! Love this one.
Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick ($10) Oh wow, this is RED. It does go on matte (and please, don’t use your cell phone to apply, because if you make a mistake it’s very difficult to fix).
Unfortunately after wearing for a while it wore off in an unattractive ombre pattern – and totally got all over my keyboard. Dumped this one.
Aloette Time Repair Serum ($48) This serum has a clean, almost soapy scent. It uses green tea extract and alpha & beta hydroxy acids to smooth skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is a nice product, although I think the price is super inflated.
AmpliLash Amplifying Mascara Serum ($23) The card promised bold and full lashes but I only got well-defined and pointy lashes as a result. Like the lipstick – another a not-for-me item.
Coastal Scents Blush and Bronzer Mini Palette ($13.95) Yay, a full-sized mini palette. Boxycharm loves putting palettes in their boxes, and it’s so handy.
Inside the palette – blushes, a contouring/highlighting powder, and 2 bronzers.
Really highly pigmented!
The value of this month’s Boxycharm was about $123, which was a bit inflated by the serum – and 2 of the products were total duds for me. This was only a so-so box after I used all the products, but I’m happy with the palette and eyeshadow.
