The Book(ish) Box is a monthly subscription of literary inspired items. Every box contains a t-shirt and 3-4 other literary items. This month’s box contained items from Fairy Tale novels one of which was Beauty and the Beast. I believe that this box was meant for me as I love fairy tales and happy endings.

I received four items in my subscription box. From Appraising pages A Court of Midst and Fury themed shirt, from Bookish box a Peter Pan themed necklace, a bookmark, a mug inspired by Cinder, and Disney post it notes.

My first item is an Appraising Pages shirt with a Court of Midst and Fury quote ” To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered.” This is a perfect quote for fairy tale lovers. Who hasn’t wished upon a star?

My next item is from The Bookish Box.  It is a Peter pan themed necklace. Mine is  a thimble charm with a small acorn.

All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.” –J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

Do you remember what the thimble symbolized? A kiss. To never grow up fully is my wish. Yes I may be an adult but at heart I am still that little girl who believes in fairies.

From Lexy Olivia I received a Beauty and the Beast themed bookmark and from Appraising Pages I received a set of Disney themed post it notes.  The bookmark came in handy as I ran out due to reading so many books like Belle.

I love the quote on the post its from Walt Disney -” Laughter is timeless, Imagination has no age and Dreams are forever.” I actually follow this in my life. You can ask anyone who knows me I am a BIG kid! There are more kid movies than grown up movies in my house.

My last item is a coffee mug inspired by Cinder by Marissa Meyer from Evie Sea. I must admit I have yet to read this book but when I looked it up it seems very interesting.  The quote on the mug  is ” I would rather die because I betrayed them than live because I betrayed you.” What a powerful quote!

Now this trip to fairy tale land is over but I’ll be back again.

What a great box. The Disney postits are great and the thimble is just too cute. I’ve not read the Cinder books either but I’ve started picking them up when I see them at used book stores. I still need Cinder and Scarlett and then I’ll have the collection and can sit down and binge them.
