The BAM! Box August 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

The BAM! Box is a monthly subscription box that brings incredible collectible items from the comic book and film world – every box includes a limited edition or exclusive item.  The August 2016 box has some really cool items in their “CRAZY” box.BAM! Box packs a whole lot of awesome inside their box each month.  July 2016 is no different!  I met the founders of BAM! Box at Phoenix ComiCon 2016 and I can tell you, they love what they do and have genuine enthusiasm for what they put into each box.

Description Card.  The August 2016 BAM! Box theme is “CRAZY.”  Each item has some sort of insanity pop culture theme.  I was excited the moment I heard about it.  Each month, subscribers have a chance to receive extra limited edition items within their BAM! Box.

Custom Hannibal Lecter Mask.  The Silence of the Lambs was an incredible film and the way Anthony Hopkins looked in this mask was beyond creepy.  BAM! Box included one of these masks in each box this month.Jim Carrey Exclusive Pin.  Lucky me!  I got the Green 1-UP Card and I was treated with the gold version of the Jim Carrey Cable Guy pin.  The Cable Guy was one of my least favorite Jim Carrey films but I really like the way this pin looks.BAM! Box is great about including items that aren’t found in every box.  Each month has its own surprises.  There is a 1-Up key that lets you know what each card signifies.What’s In The Box?!?  Se7en was one of the craziest movies I have ever seen and this box shows you what Morgan Freeman tried not to show Brad Pitt.  Don’t scroll down if you’re squeamish.

The Killing Joke 2 Song EP.  This is a BAM! Box exclusive and as a lover of vinyl and Batman, this is a treat!  I have not seen The Killing Joke movie as there is a scene I found out about that just doesn’t fit what I think Batman would do.  Every movie based on an Alan Moore property seems to have some scene that is too far out of context from the rest of the film.  The music is cool though.Harley Art Print.  This gorgeous print by Jason Oakes looks absolutely stunning.  These prints are numbered through 1999 and include a certificate of authenticity.

Harley Quinn Comic Book.  Each box comes with some sort of Harley Quinn comic book and it’s all random but they’re all good!  My book is the Harley Quinn Road Trip Special.  This is not a book I would pick up on my own based on the cover price of $5.99 but it does have more pages than most comic books and I’m glad I got something I don’t already have.

BAM! Box has a Community of people that like to trade items.  In case you were hoping for a different item, you can reach out to others and see who may want to trade.  I like that BAM! Box encourages subscribers to engage; not just with the service, but with the other subscribers.

BAM! Box is an incredibly unique subscription!  This is the box for the collector that wants items you won’t find elsewhere and is amazing for autograph fanatics.  That said, this box was lacking in the amount of items as there just weren’t as many this month for me.  That is part of the “luck of the draw” when it comes to this box.  There have been other months where I get more based on the 1-Ups.  This is the reason this box is great for the long haul.  BAM! Box takes pride in what they send and have a items you won’t find anywhere else.
