The Book(ish) Box is a monthly subscription of literary inspired items. Every box contains a t-shirt and 3-4 other literary items.  This month’s box made me squeal with delight. This month’s box contained items from fantasy novels one of which was The Mortal Instruments.

I received four items in my subscription box. From Appraising pages a J.R.R. Tolkien themed T-shirt, Saphira Eragon Blend Coffee, a Fantasy Antler Headband,a Game of Thrones Inspired Bangle and The Mortal Instruments Inspired Crossbody Tote.

My first item is an Appraising Pages shirt with a J.R.R. Tolkien quote on the front. “A single dream is more than a thousand powerful realities” is a great quote to live by. I always tell my kids to follow their dreams and never let them go.

My next item is from Passive Juice Motel. It is a small bag of Saphira Eragon Blend coffee. Mine is called Dragon Rider Roast. It is made of Brazillian, Columbian, and Sumatra coffee beans. I am sure this would be a great coffee to drink while reading the book Eragon. Unfortunately I do not drink coffee so I’ll probably regift this to one of my coffee drinking friends.

I next came across the Fantasy Antler Headband from Night and Day Baby. It is a cute cloth head band with a deer head print on it. I still rock headbands so this will get plenty of use.

Next in my literary treasure box is a Game of Thrones Inspired Bangle from The Geeky Cauldron. The print on it says “Hold the Door”, now I admit I have not seen Game of Thrones nor read any books. I guess I better get started. Bracelet comes in pretty copper color and is adjustable.

My last little treasure item is a Mortal Instruments inspired crossbody tote.

I adore the quote on the tote bag. I tend to get so engrossed in my stories I feel like I am a character in the story. I tend to get upset once my story ends. Do you feel the same way?

Now it is back to the real world. No more dragons, hobbits, castles, kings or sword fights.

This month just didn’t do it for me. I like the quote but the font not too fond of and the headband is tight on me.

I too found the headband a bit small for my head. I ended up giving it to a friend’s little girl. I completely understand about the font. I hope your next box will be better.
