Walmart Beauty Box is a quarterly sample box – just $5 for the shipping and handling.  If you want a sampling experience for items you can buy at Walmart, this is your box.  Walmart now lets you select either the “classic” profile or the “trendsetter” profile.

This is my first Walmart Beauty Box, so lots of unboxing photos for you today.  Unfortunately, there is no information on which profile box I received, but I confirmed in my account that I got the Trendsetter box. You can now select which style – it’s no longer necessarily based on your age.

First look at actual product.  I’m digging the Native American inspired nail art.  walmart

There wasn’t an information card in the box, just this note.

Walmart’s Beauty Boxes have you covered all year long.  Turn up the heat this summer with hot items from these leading beauty brands.

Everything in the summer box!

Incoco Coconut Nail Art – Desert Rose ($4.97):  The pattern I received features a coral and turquoise tribal design.  These nail strips include base coat, color, and top coat in one for 10-14 days if wear.  The strips are double ended, so if you have shorter nails, you may be able to use one strip on two nails.  Remove with your normal nail polish remover.  As you can see in some of the pictures, I have nail wraps on now but will be trying these out when I decide to change up my nails.

Schwarzkopf essence ULTIME Diamond Color & Radiance Shampoo and Conditioner ($0.88 each):  This shampoo and conditioner seal-in hair color for anti-fading and provide deep nourishment.  Essence Ultime contains a unique combination of pearl essence, panthenol, refined protein, and keratin.  I colored my hair this week, so I’m anxious to see how well this line works.

Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Clean & Fresh Toothpaste ($0.73):  I can always use toothpaste.  These sample sizes are great for traveling or when you have guests visit.  This one is supposed to provide deep cleaning…  I’m a couple of weeks away from my next dentist visit.  Let’s see if this makes a difference.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Leg Makeup – Medium ($1.98):  This is not a self or gradual tanner.  It is basically a foundation for your legs.  It claims to cover freckles, veins, and imperfections. The light-weight formula is water and transfer resistant.  I’m not so sure about this one, especially with the humidity here in Florida and my crazy sweating.  20160614_012652

The color is fairly close to my skin and would look like the healthy glow of a tan when worked in more.

Fame Eau de Parfum by Lady Gaga ($0.28):  I appreciate that this came with a sprayer.  The fragrance combines notes of belladonna, incense, apricot, honey drops, orchid, and jasmine.  To be honest, when I first tried this, I didn’t like it.  I thought it was too heavy of a floral scent for my tastes.  After an hour or so, the scent softened and some sweeter notes came through.  I would wear this as an evening fragrance.

Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Lotion ($2.78):  Use this to repair severely dry skin within 5 days.  This is getting added to my night time routine to maintain soft, sandal-ready feet.  It has a non-greasy formula enriched with petroleum jelly droplets.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub – Fresh Skin ($1.16):  I knew why I was reviewing this box as soon as I saw this tube.  I started using St. Ives facial products when I was 12 – their clay mask was my first beauty obsession.  Now, some 20+ years later, I still am a fan of their scrubs and was thrilled to see this.  This formula uses natural exfoliants and is non-comedogenic, paraben free, and sulfate free. (Brandy does not understand my love for this brand and mocks me for it.)

Using price per ounce for some items, I calculated this box to be a nearly $14 value.  The nail art alone covered the cost of the box.  With the exception of the leg makeup, I will use everything that was received, so that is a huge win for me.  What did you think of this quarter’s Walmart Beauty Box?  Did you receive any different products?  Let me know by leaving a comment below.

I just received my first box at the end of September. And I just got charged again for another box. Will that be the fall box?? I’m so confused. I got everything you got except the face scrub and the perfume. I got a deodorant, lotion sample, and make up remover.

I received the same items you did besides the St. Ives. Products and perfume. It appears that my alternate items were a full size tube of Burtbees Magenta Rush colored lipstick( which I loved) and a sample packet of Nivea in shower body lotion.

I have never colored or highlighted my hair so I’m not sure if I can use the included shampoo and conditioner.

I already wear nail wraps by a company that I am devoted to and love their products but will try the ones I received. My design was mostly gold and black polka dots and geometric shapes.

I’m not sure about the leg makeup…the Vaseline intensive care advanced repair lotion feels great and I look forward to trying the toothpaste.

Latoya, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!

I would have preferred the Burts Bees instead of the perfume. Lucky you. 🙂

Also, I think that you’ll be fine using the shampoo/conditioner. Generally, ones that are geared for color treated hair are gentler to prevent stripping color.

I finally got around to using the nail strips and LOVE them. Since they are made of polish, they don’t feel thick like some wraps do.

I love this beauty box. Great items and a great value. I do have a problem requesting the trendsetter selection. There is no option for it when placing your order.
