Petit Vour June 2016 Subscription Box Review

I’m really a mermaid! Petit Vour is a vegan beauty subscription box. For only $15 per month you receive up to five cruelty-free beauty and grooming samples. It is usually one color item, one hair or fragrance item, one skincare item, and one body item. A survey link is sent out upon signing up. Be sure to fill it out! There can be up to eight variations of the box each month.

I am ready to be a mermaid! I can’t wait to look further into the box.

I recognize all the brands from the June Petit Vour box except for one brand that is new to me!

I am familiar with the Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening SPF 15 Moisturizer (.5 oz, $18.00) which rates a 1 on the EWG scale. I use sunscreen year round because I burn easily. I welcome all natural sunscreen samples to my home. I read the ingredients, and it really does have organic apple juice listed! It feels a little thick going on because it is a moisturizer and blends in easily with an almost nonexistent scent. It is specifically not recommended for rosacea which means I will not use it on my face. I will use it on my legs etc. on low UV days.

The EVOLVh SmartVolume Leave-In Conditioner (2 oz, $11.00) helps protects hair from UV damage while it thickens and detangles hair. I suspect that this is one of the variations being offered this month. It is a lightweight spray that can be used on damp hair for maximum benefit or dry hair to freshen locks.  I’ve used other EVOLVh hair products and loved them. I will use this even though I don’t need the volume because of the protection from the UV damage. Check out what my hair looks like when it is not full of volume. It is still thick! It needs major recovery from my vacation!

The Suntegrity Lip C.P.R. SPF 30 sample ($5.00) was a lot of fun to try out. I enjoyed trying out the two lip samples with the lip brush. It is a mineral lipstick that is SPF 30. It is creamy and is free of gluten, dairy, wheat, and GMOs.  The lip color on the left side/top swatch is Sunburst Pink. The lip color on the right side/bottom swatch is Solar Rose. I will be purchasing a full-size!

The Precious Skin Elixirs Sea Pearl Exfoliating Clay (.5 oz, $4.50) is made of organic and wildcrafted ingredients. It is a powder to mousse cleanser that is activated by water. It feels like a rich lather when it was on my face. I will be using the remaining cleanser as a face mask treatment by mixing it with yogurt. It stimulates the circulation, relieves congestion and excess oil, and clears out impurities.

I’ve been subscribing to Petit Vour periodically for about two years. I’ve always enjoyed my subscription because it allows me to try out luxury brands without having to invest a lot of money. I don’t feel bad if an item doesn’t work for me because the cost is $15.00 making it a low risk box. This box is a review box and does not reflect the customization that occurs when you fill out the survey upon joining.  For example, I may have received a different type of EVOLVh conditioner. Regardless, I will be using everything in the June box!
