Comic Block Subscription Box Review & Coupon – June 2016

Comic Block is a monthly subscription box from the Nerd Block Family of geek crates! With this subscription you’ll receive comic books, a shirt, and other goodies each month.

The featured item!

Description Card is great for letting us know what we have received.  Its a great checklist to look at as you go through your Comic Block box.

This box is great and there is special care for the contents.  Comic books are wrapped in plastic and/or bagged and boarded.  There are more toys than before as the box has increased in size.  The t-shirt was packed in the box well and kept everything from moving around.

Funko Wacky Wobbler: Avengers 2 Mini Wobbler Action Figure (Pack of 4) – $9.99.  The Avengers are ready to take on Ultron with their giant heads a bobblin.’  These guys look great and were a great addition to this box.

Apocalypse T-Shirt.  I haven’t seen the X-Men: Apocalypse movie yet but I’ve enjoyed the villain in the comic books and cartoons.  I like how this shirt did a bit of a mash-up with the Apocalypse Now movie from 1979.

The Punisher #1 – Marvel Comics – $3.99 – Variant Cover.  You won’t get this special cover anywhere else.  I’m a huge fan of Steve Dillon and I’m glad he’s back doing artwork for Frank Castle.  You can read my review of this violent book here.

Tank Girl #1 – Titan Comics – $3.99.  Tank Girl is back.  The cult favorite from a future wasteland brings her big guns, big tanks and big explosions to Titan Comics.
Dorbz Penguin Vinyl Figure – $6.99.  One of Batman’s most well known villains, The Penguin has been played by some notable actors: Burgess Meredith, Danny DeVito and most recently by Robin Lord Taylor.

Sneak preview of next month.  Comic Block lets us know we can expect items from some of my favorite comic books next month.  Punisher, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen.  Not only do I enjoy the comics, but the movies and animated television series’ have been extraordinary as well.

Comic Block has indeed gotten bigger and this month was great!  I’ve been a fan of Comic Block because of the comic books you receive along with the t-shirt and other collectibles.  The two comics were excellent and the t-shirt was cool too.  This is a wonderful value and I would encourage anyone who loves the comic book genre to check this out.
