Merci for May! Petit Vour is a vegan beauty subscription box. For only $15 per month you receive up to five cruelty-free beauty and grooming samples.
The cards from Petit Vour have been illustrated lately by Mia Charro, who makes wonderful and gorgeous art.
The information card gives details on each item.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Blemish Clearing ($5.63) Juice Beauty is always a win and I am looking forward to testing it out (I currently can’t because of my eyes!). This is an alpha and beta hydroxy acid peel that attacks wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. As soon as I get the go ahead, it’s on!
I’m puzzled but a duplicate item in the box – the below is pasted from last month’s review.
Bedrock & Bloom Smart Ash All Natural & Organic Teeth Whitener ($3) Smart Ash whitens the teeth by using Wildcrafted Activated Coconut Charcoal and is a fluoride non-GMO and of course vegan toothpaste alternative. I like the claim that it remineralizes so I’m going to have to suck it up and try it out.
Captain Blankenship Mermaid Mane Sea Salt Hair Spray ($6) This gives great texture and waves without being crunchy. It’s made with natural and organic ingredients and has a beachy rose scent.
Ecco Bella Lip Gloss ($14.49) How can you not love a product that says flowercolor?! It tastes slightly of vanilla, too and is gluten-free!
There’s even a mirror on the back. I received the color “Power” and other subscribers may have received “Peace” (the 2 vegan colors in this line!).
Nice matte mousse formula and I love the color.
Even though the other items are great I’m not sure why they sent the same item two months in a row, especially as this was the anniversary box. This month had about $29 in value, which is pretty good, but I’d love to try a new item!

Comments
Last month I received two items that were supposed to be alternate items, and if you received certain items, you were supposed to get the other items this month. For April, I got the Ursa Major face balm, Kumari body oil, 100% Pure cream eyeshadow, and Juara hand cream. For May, I got the Smart Ash, Ecco Bella lip gloss, Juice Beauty face mask, and the sea salt hair spray. You should contact them if you got duplicate products and you wanted to try other products. Customer service has always been nice to me via e-mail. The smart ash looks really weird when you brush your teeth, but it cleaned my teeth way better than my toothpaste ever has, tastes pretty good (surprisingly), and actually whitened my teeth. You only have to use a very tiny amount too, so even the small sample will last a while 🙂
