Mini Monthly Box of Awesome Subscription Review – May 2016

The Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome is a monthly subscription box offered by That Daily Deal. That Daily Deal says that “Each month you’ll receive a mysterious mystery box of awesome mystery packed with mysteriousness. It may be one high value item or a plethora of smaller items that add up to a HUGE value. Either way the value FAR outweighs the $9.99 monthly price you pay. A curator letter was included with the May box offering a discount on their sister website 13 Deals.

Here are the items for the May 2016 Mini Monthly Box of Awesome! Items vary greatly. Your box may look nothing like my box.

Should the Sports Authority Shaker Cup ($2.99 on 13 Deals, $8.99 retail) be considered a collector’s item now that Sports Authority is going out of business? It is a 20 ounce shaker cup with measurements on the side. The plastic agitator mixes up the shake for you. T, age 17, will use the cup.

I don’t understand the 6 Pack Tube Cooler ($9.99). How does it not shake up the drinks? The easy carry cooler keeps drinks cold for four hours. The washable cooler is BPA, lead, and phalates (sic) free. It also has a small pouch for credit cards and money.

The LockNest Multi Anything Stand ($5.00) is a fun phone and camera holder that is easy to manipulate. I had no problems with the stand holding my Samsung S4 phone in the grass. It’s easy to contort in different shapes to meet your needs! The boys, ages 7 and 17 enjoyed playing with it.

The Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome is an inexpensive box of mystery items. You never know what may be included in the box! I found the items to be useful for my family. There are variations to the box.
