May 2016 Book Case Club Subscription Box Review & Coupon – Strange Worlds Case

I picked the Strange Worlds case!

I received 1 hard  back book and 1 paperback book in the fantasy genre. The books were cushioned with paper to keep the covers from damage.  I have started reading both of them and I am totally into them. I am switching each book out every other night.

The Godless by Ben Peak ($25.99 on Amazon) is a book is about a young girl in a new world that discovers she has special abilities.  This world she lives in has gods and wars. The book has drawings of this world to help you better understand the world they are describing. I feel my nerdness coming out. I’ll let you know how it ends.This book retails for $25.99 and it is so far well worth it.

A fast paced epic fantasy set in an enthralling new world.

Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Thomas Sweterlitsch is the second book in the box($16 on Amazon). This is a fantasy novel about a detective in the near-future. This detective helps solves cold cases and discovers discrepancy in one of the cases that take him to places (mentally and literally). Just the back cover has my attention. I’ve just started this one so I will have to let you know how it turns out.  This book retails for $16.

Pittsburgh is John Dominic Blaxton’s home even though the city has been uninhabitable ruin and ash for the past decade. The Pittsburgh Dominic lives in is the Archive, an immersive virtual reconstruction of the city’s buildings, parks, and landmarks as well as the people who once lived there. Including Dominic’s wife and unborn child.

As reading is one of my favorite pastimes, I am surely going to enjoy this box.  Total retail for this box is $41.99, cost of the subscription $14.99 a month. Total savings: $27!!! I love savings!
